I had mentioned earlier this week that people back there were being told they’d have to vacate. Glad they’re coming forward. Hopefully, this means the correct decision was made. But, remember, MV will still likely leave in several years, so it’d be a temporary reprieve. I do very much feel there were leaks this week as test balloons.

For the time we have left, I pitch this: put Jim hensons name back in the title of the ride

I know Muppet Vision’s days will always be numbered, and its closure will always be a case of when than if. However, I will always hope for that day to pushed back as far as possible. I sincerely hope that the new info is right and Muppets will be safe from Monsters. But until then, I’ll be happy to appreciate whatever time it has.

It would be a nice tribute and a touching move. I will say my primary critique is that doing so might tie it too much to the tribute idea (a la Enchanted Tiki Room and Carousel of Progress), and I think Disney wouldn’t want to tie it TOO much to that legacy if they want to close it in the future.

Hopefully I get to visit muppets one more time before it eventually goes. Funny story, i went this year, and unconsciously decided to take procures of everything inside mv3d and all the muppet stuff in pizzerizzo. No real reason lol.
Also I got a show where I was able to see the full preshow, a full house, and all the effects working!
Also a cute thing that happened, when sweetums asked where bean was, a bunch of small kids in the audience, NOT the recording, were yelling at him where he was. It was magical

Call me cautious but I’m not going to read too much into this. An office moving could be for many reasons not related to D23. I think we’re still pretty in the dark on this.

If this was 100% not going in Muppets I feel like they would have clarified by now as it’s hitting in some mainstream media. I personally think it’s most likely that either it is going in Muppets and an announcement is coming soon-ish (this is what several of our insiders have indicated) OR they really are undecided still.
