Oh I know a guy can dream though can’t he?I've not seen any reliable insider back up any of these wishes except that 'something' is happening in AC 'sometime' in the future.
Also, get your return key fixed.

Absolutely ZERO has been done on Cars. I'd say 2029 at the earliest--and even that seems a little like wishful thinking.I was assuming Cars and Monsters are both 2028 with one being Summer and one Fall.
What's your guess when construction walls for Cars land will go up (knowing no actual work will be done behind them )?Absolutely ZERO has been done on Cars. I'd say 2029 at the earliest--and even that seems a little like wishful thinking.
APRIL FOOLS! We are gong to put up walls but have no intention of doing anything for YEARS and YEARS!I'm gonna (selfishly) guess April 1 it closes
If only it was a jokeAPRIL FOOLS! We are gong to put up walls but have no intention of doing anything for YEARS and YEARS!
In the next few years Elon Musk could buy Disney and demand Splash and mr. Toad return. Anything is possible! Haha. That’s probably too glass half full for some but I said possibility not certaint
I know you're not serious, but for those who may think this is something that can be easily done...In the next few years Elon Musk could buy Disney and demand Splash and mr. Toad return. Anything is possible! Haha.
How about Journey into Imagination sponsored by Elon Musk? I'd go on that darkride version of "The Cell."I know you're not serious, but for those who may think this is something that can be easily done...
To change what the park is doing, you need control of the Board.
To get voted onto the Board, you have to get a majority of stockholders to vote you and your cronies in to take it over.
If you can't convince the majority of stock holders to vote you in (just like Peltz couldn't), you could theoretically buy up over half of Disney stocks and thus, control the vote.
That would cost you over $110B... at least.
As you buy up those stocks the cost, tho, would continue to climb making it much more expensive than $110B. And you may have the big investment companies, like Vanguard, declining to sell their shares.
So... Elon's not going to be in control of Disney without mostly everyone wanting him to. And I don't think you'd find that mostly everyone would like Elon to be in control of Disney.
Naturally I’m joking, I don’t think Elon wants Disney. But Elon or Bezos could certainly make anything happen if they wanted to.To change what the park is doing, you need control of the Board.

Is there any evidence that Musk has ever been to WDW, let alone that he has any nostalgia for extinct attractionsNaturally I’m joking, I don’t think Elon wants Disney. But Elon or Bezos could certainly make anything happen if they wanted to.
Yes, Elon and Bezos have both visited Disney parks. Is there any evidence that Musk has ever been to WDW, let alone that he has any nostalgia for extinct attractions
Probably just basic math. It’s a 10 year plan so they won’t start everything at once. Disney wants to spread capital spend out over 10 years and without borrowing a lot of money they actually need annual cash flows to fund the various projects. Assuming relatively even spend over each year the $60B over 10 years leaves about $30B left for the last 5 years. This is worldwide spend including cruise ships and all of the other parks but a chunk is allocated to WDW. For WDW they selected AK project and Cars/Villians as well as Monsters for the first phase. That does not add up to the total spend expected for WDW which leaves money on the table for a phase 2 of projects after 2030.My question is…. If there is a “bigger plan” for AC… what’s the hold up? Why choose monsters over this “better plan” unless you want to delay it by another 10 years.

Zootopia? Heroes? Any hints?Yes there is
What’s wrong with my return key?I've not seen any reliable insider back up any of these wishes except that 'something' is happening in AC 'sometime' in the future.

I would rather see Disney broken apart and sold in pieces than sell it to that SOB.In the next few years Elon Musk could buy Disney and demand Splash and mr. Toad return. Anything is possible! Haha.
There won't be a wide plaza there. They're likely using the narrowness of the avenue to hide the gravity building without having to resort to as much industrial clutter as you see in the AC concept. Not sure if anyone else has pointed this out yet - does anyone else think that the muppets artwork partially matches up with the "AC" artwork? I say this because it shows the sushi restaurant in generally the same location, with it being on the left side of the entrance into the factory plaza (although the AC artwork has it pushed over more). I think we might see the "street" leading into a version of the wide plaza outside the factory
