Krank, I think we are on the same page on this.

The only problem I can see is that it would be tough to keep it clean & shiny.

they would have to keep a CM at every stop with a bottle of Windex and a Shamwow.

I would think if WDW does a remodel of the Mark VI trains it would be done via Bombardier (a mass transit company with lots of experience), the builders of the Mark VI trains.

Siemens has a train and light rail division... :lookaroun

As for colors, how about Monorail Royal, with a dark royal blue stripe? It's not purple, it's not the indigo/sky blue that Monorail Blue is...
(It could also be Monorail Navy, but that just sounds silly out-loud)

Hate to say this but I think chrome is out just because of the sun and especially in Florida where the sun is quite bright most of the time just the right angle and it could easily blind somebody and you all know the the rest of the story from hear do i hear lawsuits I can see this now person blinded by new color on monorail news at a eleven.

Keep it on the EPCOT Line and have the last car be perpetually dark....only faintly illuminated by glowing, blue triangles.:D:lookaroun
