Of course monorail extentions have been seriously studied and considered. Here's one of my fav's, a monorail through Lake Buena Vista, from where you tranfer to the PeopleMover that takes you to the Empress Lilly.

That is an earlier study, dating back to '68, I believe. Notice, the '82 plan didn't have it going all the way up LBV Boulevard, but had it dip south around where Pleasure Island is to around where Team Disney is and looped back to EC. I know they were planning on building a New Orleans themed shopping area and resort in that area. Now I'm wondering what side of the street it was planned on and why the loop on the south side of LBV Boulevard? More questions than there are answers...

Here is my prediction based on some of my recent talks with people I know at Walt Disney World. They can not continue just to add additional buses for to much longer, it will just overrun Walt Disney World. A new system (or systems) is going to have to be installed to take people from the major parks to different resort areas. An example may be to buses would move from the EPCOT resorts directly to the monorail at the front of EPCOT. Than use the monorail to connect with the Magic Kingdom. This would reduce the number of buses running from these resorts to Magic Kingdom. Downtown Disney (Disney Springs) would be connected to major parks by maybe a light rail trolley or other system. Buses than would move guest from there to the resorts in that area. The system would have one major system from each resort area connecting into the larger systems feeding the parks. The plan would be to get the large number of buses in the area of the Parks down and the total number of buses needed would not continue to increase so fast. So you would see many different large transit systems interconnection the parks and feeding from the parks to hub terminals. Than each major resort area would have a hub and the buses would be the spokes to the resort hotels. I have been told that this might include some additions to the monorail system or may not.

I believe this may be the current plan or plan in process of being planned. It makes sense. Now, compare this to the lies we've been hearing that nothing was ever planned and that nothing will ever be planned. Pure arrogance on their part and those who actually subscribe to it.

I know it's even slower, especially if you've ridden the Friendship's much, but wasn't there once talk of more water transport connectivity between parks? Especially EPCOT to the MK or TTC? Not looking to derail the monorail thread, just asking.

I would be lying if I said debunking their lies was my only motivation. You can imagine how hurtful as a child it was being told by everyone you knew that you saw something that wasn't real or that you made it up. Something that hurtful doesn't go away when you get older. It motivates you to take action. In my case, it motivated me to learn about Walt's original vision for EPCOT, peoplemovers, monorails, etc. I totally "get" what Walt had in mind and why these systems should be what cities are designed around. So, yeah, it's a lot more than the search for the truth.

He's a guy with a You Tube channel who likes to make videos of some behind the scenes stuff around WDW. He's from FL. He's got one inside River Country, one upstairs at Imagination and the like, but after stepping across the line in the Hollywood Studios was finally taken to task by WDW and given a permanent ban. Oddly, he still has access to DL, I think.

Sure but he had been posting videos of backstage for a long time. They knew what he looked like, how can you miss the glasses, T-shirt and tattoos? Still they waited for ages. He made it easier by his arrogance, but they could have gotten him a long time before that if they had tried.

You know how sensitive Disney is about the magic. Any backstage, uninvited, intrusion is not going to be looked at as a good thing. He always sneaked into them, never tried to get permission, because he probably knew that they wouldn't give it to him. Just go to youtube and type in adam the woo and you will get a list of all his postings. You can see for yourself. He also has a web site but I'll let you find that if you want too.

They're not expanding, so where is the need for anything else?
