...because maint. can't keep up with the LED failures.

You hit the nail on the head.

The 2 maintenance men specifically in charge of lighting around Future World sleep most of their shift in the tunnel breakroom every night. They don't check lights themselves but simply wait until they get a call on their radio before they head out to fix something. Must be nice making $25/hour to do nothing but sleep. :fork:

You know, maybe it was because of the depressing weather, but I recall a grimy-looking SSE.
It wasn't bad in December, but I have seen it looking better.

What's the use when the maintenance supervisor knows they do it? They don't hide the fact that they sleep either. If you to hear the TV on your break over their snoring you'd better pick a different breakroom.

Work 40 hours a week? No. On the clock 40 hours a week? Yes. I've been working there over a year and a half and I've seen them actually "work" only twice.

You gotta do something, though...

So all the lighting effects from FW, like the JII Pyramid lights, the UoE Rib lighting, the TLS rim lighting is missing because of them?

I think I want that job. Not to sleep, but to actually do their work!

Sounds like the crew of 3 at ToT that were sitting around waiting for something to break the other day during our tour.

I actually have an idea for a joke about that but I don't think I should post it here. so if anyone is interested especially IllumiNations fans who dislike the Celebrate you theme played after the show I will PM it to you.
