MM+ Why we can't have nice things.

I agree, first movie introduce a new cast of characters, not to mention a few familiar ones......second movie bring back Harry himself to hook you for the third movie.....BAM!.......Uni now has material for Potter 3.0
The first movie they are making for the Fantastic Beasts series takes place 70 years before Harry is born.
I am not sure people need Harry in the films to be loved by the fans. But the musical themes from the movies would help pull them all together.

Not if Comcast falters like some people are predicting. As soon as 2014.

Face it, there is a chance what Universal is getting built right now might be all you get for quite a long time.

Jimmy Thick- Look it up...And weep...

That would stop JK Rowling and Warner Brothers producing more material in the Potter franchise?

Disney Springs isn't considered an attraction?
No. It's a place to shop and eat. With any luck, it will be a welcoming, open, airy, pretty, nice place to shop and eat.

But that's all it is. Shopping and Dining.

Well, you can go up a little bit in the balloon, if it is going up and you want to pay for it.

Err...it is going to be all expanded universe stuff...

That doesn't preclude the original characters from reappearing. Luke, Han and Leia are all prevalent in the Star Wars EU, there's no reason why we can't see Harry, Ron and Hermione again in future Potter installments. Anything is possible going forward, we could get prequels, sequels and spin-offs. If Rowling wants to revisit the original characters and the actors are all happy to return then we might well see more of them again.

Completely off topic, but the preferred desktop operating system at Google is OS X.
Pardon my ignorance but does that mean that OS' s such as jellybean and kit kat are off - shoots of OS X? Only reason I'm not a fan of Apple is their insane prices. I think they make excellent products though. I'm not one of the DROID fans that hates apple just to hate.
Edit: I see you said "desktop OS". That kind of makes my question ignorant. Funny that Google prefers it though.

No. Android is Linux based.

I have given examples...plenty and people just laugh at them and bash them as stupid and then call me an idiot, a pixie duster, and even a Disney whor*

I have not gone there and the funny thing is a lot of what the others claim about Disney I agree with...but I am also a realist and too many take some issues at Disney as the end of the world and they will be shutting their doors.
Your examples aren't very good to be honest though. I'm sorry, but I'm a realist too.

And as a realist too, it should be clear that nobody but the extremists have said Disney is shutting down. I think you interpret criticism of Disney as if people hate it. They don't. Some people enjoy it so much and know what it used to be that they are frustrated at the current state of the place they love. If youre a fan of a sports team, won't you complain and be annoyed if your team isn't playing up to its potential?

If I may, I would suggest visiting other places besides wdw. Visit Disneyland. I think you'll enjoy it and like myself, you'll notice the difference in overall show quality. Visit universal Orlando. Heck my family and I just came back from universal Hollywood today and had a great time. Their backlot tour truly puts the Hollywood studios backlot to shame. Plus transformers isn't too bad either!

I think that will help better elicit where people are coming from and shows that people can have fun at other places too.

Something that I've not seen mentioned yet....
Disney will a massive amount of money on issuing the fastpass cards, I would imagine we are talking an average of 100,000 stubs a day across all the parks or 36.5 million a year. Ok so even if they cost 5 cents a ticket, it's going to be a long payback period of MM+ but at least a positive green measure.

What will your response be when you're proven wrong? You seem to have a lot of faith in your assumption.
I'm looking forward to NEXT year. I predict Uni will finally overtake a WDW park or two.

If we are going by the TEA then his predictions are unlikely to be wrong.

Here are the 2013 numbers:

AK: 9,998,000
DHS: 9,912,000
IOA: 7,981,000
Uni: 6,196,000

To pass 10 million, DHS needs less then 1% increase, and AK much less, no reason to believe this wouldn't happen.
IOA would need a 12% increase to cross 9 million. It gained a respectable 4% in 2012 (better percentage wise then any WDW park), but I don't see a reason for it to jump by 12% in 2013.

Now the 2014 numbers are where it's going to get interesting, when we see the impact of HP Phase 2.

I think any paper FP savings will be more than offset by the bands and now the flash drives being sent out....

For Universal to reach 10 million guests they will need another 2.1 million guests. Highly unlikely even with more Potter. Even after a full year of the next phase of Potter, It would be pushing it for IoA to get to 9 million. Throw in the fact the fad audience that went to Potter the first time will have to decide to go again, and its not unrealistic for pundits to doubt that they might not even get that.

Universal has much too much faith in Potter.

Disney quietly, slowly building permanent long term upgrades like MM+ will win the race they are clearly out in front in.

Jimmy Thick- Universal room occupancy rates after Potter 2.0? 40%. Disney, 85-90%. Book it.
