MK Update with photos

All areas looked busy but wait times seemed short, felt more like Feb than Jul. TOMORROWLAND was a bit of a wasteland. We sat on a bench and ate an icecream, must have watched 15 or so groups walk up to Space and walk away disappointed.

Thought I had some new photos from Sunday, I drive home 10 hours and Everything is already on home page:lookaroun

Here goes anyway:

Love the pics, but it is so sad seeing Tomorrowland so empty. Even sadder seeing the Stitch stage sitting there taking up space. I remember seeing them building it when we were there in March. EPIC FAIL I guess!

Maybe we will get lucky and the crew demoing the Skyway will move over and get rid of that ugly stage as well.

Edit: Thanks for the Pics!

The two times I walked thru the wait times were low, SGE-10min, Buzz-10min, MincLF-10 min, there was a bit of a line for CoP. To be fair I got there early @ 9am, left for a break from 3-7 and then stayed til midnight.

What is the atmosphere in TL in terms of background sounds? Obviously, the narration to TTA is off, but what about music?

/\ Don't know first-hand as I haven't been there in a while... but I recently asked my friend about the Tomorrowland atmosphere... they not only said it's "completely dead," but they emphasized how they recently hung out there for 30 minutes and only saw one group of guests walk by.

With that in mind I can only assume the background music is gone as well. It doesn't make much sense (to me at least) to have music playing in that area. I can't say though... I didn't think broadly enough to ask about the music. Good question.

Great pics! Nice to see Push back. :)

And there should be more obvious signs that state SM is closed...
Perhaps make this as a 25'X55'X14' sign and plop it in front of SM.

As for the Stitch stage, that eyesore is filled with ironic quotes. I mean, I refer to one of my pics:

That is the overall explanation for the work, green, and time spent on.

I don't actually mind the stage that much... I don't think it looks that bad! With the right stage show it could be a nice addition to TL!

Is Disney now offering some adult companion services? Can I book Aerial?

:ROFLOL: I'll take her other half - prince Eric, please!

Thanks for the update and pics!

How many actual signs are up about SM?
