Ah.

So... details?

Well, I'm pretty much ensured a spot at Ohio State for college. I'm going for a visit to the college on Wednesday and Thursday. Last night, a Biology major named Andy called me (he didn't even know I was going up for a visit) and asked if I was still interested in going to OSU and asked if he could send me some stuff.

So yeah, I'm basically guaranteed a spot in the Honors Program, hopefully. But I don't want to get my hopes up.

How close are you to Columbus, Danny?

That's actually close to my neck of the woods... relatively speaking.

Luke: I'd say maybe 4 hours away, by my best estimates, without any aid from maps. :lookaroun

It's 2.5 to Cedar Point (which now we might be able to meet up!), so add on the time to Columbus, I guess.

Baltimore, right?

My grandma lived in Annapolis when she was alive. I have a step-aunt who lives in Baltimore-ish. Towson.

I've been to the Inner Harbor once. To see some big ships and the aquarium. It was fun.

Yeah, Cedar Point is one of the main reasons I'm so excited to go to OSU.

But I've still got a year to go.

Towson! That's about 20 min south of where I am. I used to work in Towson!

Actually I'm in Hunt Valley - home of the McCormick plant. Every day I leave work and smell the spices... :slurp:

The way I hear it, Michael Phelps (the Olympic swimmer) is from Towson. Apparently my cousins and him swim at the same pool. Crazy stuff.

I'd take a snow day WAY before I'd take a hurricane day. Though hurricanes can be fun. Going outside in the middle of Frances was a blast.

(Hi Nana! )

Well, if you get the OSU program, you may not have to. :lookaroun
