Ooooh.. Carnivals are fun! We used to have one every year when I was in elementary school. Such fond memories...

Ah, yes, carnivals... the temporary amusement parks with questionable rides and even more questionable ride ops. :lookaroun

No rides for this carnival. Games and food. These are elementary kids. It is a way to get them to come the last day since it was supposed to be a teacher work day but we lost it (actually 2) due to Katrina and Wilma.

Wouldn't you think an advertising company would, at the very least, inform you of goings-on?

You'd think so, especially seeing how half have degrees in mass communications.

Bonny- I'm a writer/producer for an Advertising company. Furniture and mattresses mostly.

Jim sub???? I didn't know he was a teach Nana.....

Just think, each sad day of school means one less day till you see us!!!!
You don't have to have a teaching certificate to sub. Just an AA or BA and he has an MBA. He is taking a training class this weekend. It is a job that meshes with his other jobs.

Yep, one day less until I see you:sohappy: :sohappy: :sohappy: :sohappy:

These happen more often than not in Canada.

Whenever the busses aren't running, absolutely no one goes to class. Oh, the joys of high school... :drevil:
