Yes you did... I tried to stay out of it when it started to get a lil more... interesting you can say....I answered Connors ? and Joes comment and then I talked to bonny about music..... They always seem to get into these discussions... For some young guys.. They really amaze me at what they talk about and how they do it... Smart guys we have here but all very opinionated......

You can say that again.

The house is clean and we're off to lunch!
Thanks to Bunny's report, I think I'll steer clear of Calamari for a while!:lol::lol:

Glad that the house is clean! That always makes me feel better... to come home to a clean house.

Connor I hate to say it, but... I guarentee, I seriously guarentee by the time you're 21... you'll have at least gotten buzzed, if not drunk... AND DON'T THINK I'M SAYING ITS RIGHT OR ACCEPTABLE CUZ I'M NOT!!! It's life...
The above would not have been true for me. I've never been a drinker. Drank briefly for bravado as a kid, concluded I did not like the stuff and have not bothered with it since.

I'm not anti-drink but I will say I'm fed up with the degree of anti-social behaviour that comes with heavy drinking. It's part of the culture over here that in order to have a good time you have to get seriously drunk, throw up, pi$$ in a shop doorway, have meaningless Ess-Ee-Ex and eat hot curries.

Also, I carry around a bit of excess weight, but at least I don't have the beer gut to go with it ;)

Not many 5 year olds running around shouting expletives (on purpose)..
Sad to say I've heard it in my area of England - monosyllabic parents effing and blinding in front of their toddlers who happily mimic the action.

Me neither. As a matter of fact, I don't think I've ever crossed the "tipsy" line. One glass of Riesling here or there, but other than that I don't touch the stuff. Not because I'm against drinking or people who drink (if so, I'd have to disown most of Marc's family - they're a bunch of serious wine people) It's just that I don't like the stuff. No beer, no hard stuff, no champagne... I guess it's an "aquired taste" but I don't feel the need or social pressure to aquire it. To me, a Pina Colada is plain ruined when you add the rum, and yes, I've had it both ways. There are so many other, more decadent, ways to gain those calories.

Okay, I'm back, I'm catching up..... MJ is still not feeling great....her exam was hard but was a good report, the Dr. was very fast, but it took three nurses to hold her in her chair.....no cavities, no care needed, see you in six months....

I tried to take a bite of something yesterday and nearly died of pain (I think my front tooth is abcessed).... I found an in network dentist but I can't go till Tuesday, so I guess it's smoothies and milkshakes for me till then.....They said to call Mon if I couldn't wait, but Mon is Andrew's bday, so I am trying to tough it out...

I am! I have started packing today, and I did what I said I was going to do- I got my hair cut. I used to have it down to my bottom, but now it is right under my shoulders! I think it will take some getting used to, but I don't mind.
