Me neither. As a matter of fact, I don't think I've ever crossed the "tipsy" line. One glass of Riesling here or there, but other than that I don't touch the stuff. Not because I'm against drinking or people who drink (if so, I'd have to disown most of Marc's family - they're a bunch of serious wine people) It's just that I don't like the stuff. No beer, no hard stuff, no champagne... I guess it's an "aquired taste" but I don't feel the need or social pressure to aquire it. To me, a Pina Colada is plain ruined when you add the rum, and yes, I've had it both ways. There are so many other, more decadent, ways to gain those calories.
There are not many of us about - at least in the UK where serious drinking starts at around 12 Years old. It's not legal until 18, but the playing at being a grown up by smoking, drinking, hanging around in gangs and swearing out loud starts at about 12.

I'll have a drink occasionally in a social situation, but I can't say that I've ever been "drunk" in my life. Just not one of my goals I guess.

Joanna - I'm really excited for you! Did you donate your hair to Locks of Love?

Bonny - take care of that tooth. An abcess is nothing to fool around with! Glad MJ's checkup went OK. Did she go to a pediatric dentist?

I am! I have started packing today, and I did what I said I was going to do- I got my hair cut. I used to have it down to my bottom, but now it is right under my shoulders! I think it will take some getting used to, but I don't mind.

Wow! That's quite an adjustment, I know. I had mine down to mid-back for the wedding, then had it chopped back to just below the chin right afterwards. I bawled. But it's only hair! And it'll take 1/3 of the time to wash and dry now

You should post pics!

yes, and a special needs one at that....

I can't do much about my tooth until Tuesday, but hopefully then we'll come up with a plan that involves saving my teeth, but they are in such bad shape I don't know what they can do....

I'm with you!
I don't mean to sound preachy to the young people on here, but I've seen too much heartache caused by drinking to condone any sort of underage use. You just can't be sure that you'll always have it under control. If that were such a sure bet, the world wouldn't be full of people with drinking problems.

Okay, I'm off my soapbox now.

I have a glass of wine or two in social occasions, but that's it!
I could really take it or leave it!
