I've never heard the name Lally before... where did you come up with that?

Uhhh...I forgot :lol:

Lally will be 10 this year and back then we were throwing names around. I think we somehow arrived at "lolli" like lollipop. But then we wanted to make it sound and write better (or spell better) so we came up with Lally. It also sounds more Latina :lol:

We ALMOST named her Oreo because she used to be dark dark brown with patches of white. Thank goodness we didn't because over the years her hair has gotten extremely light :lol:

Have I told you lately how proud I am of you? I am so impressed by the amount of work and dedication you had this year... You did such a great job - and you handled it all so well! You are going to blow through college with flying colors. You'll have your master's and probably doctrine before long... mark my words.

Thanks! It's so amazing the differance between her last year and now... I'm completely blown away at how fast she's growing!!!

She is amazing. The wee buggers grow fast. Rotten kids.

Speaking of growing, watched Em at her recital rehearsal today...she held the opening position for like 5 minutes while all the other kids worked out the ants in their pants. She's so serious about doing well. Wish she listenend to me like she does her dance instructor!

As for me...I think I got flirted with today...

Although Joey is certainly the exception to the rule... I love orange kitties... I've yet to meet an orange kitty that wasn't sweet and fun.

You are 100% correct there....My Stewart is orange, the first orange I ever met and his personality is unbelieveably sweet. As are the personalites of the oranges I've met since.

They switched from heat to AC last week, so now that we are having an unusual cold spell it is quite cold in here! I will definetly have to break out the warm PJs tonight.

I need y'alls opinions on something...

We were talking about getting a kitty instead of a dog. (curses I know) :lol: But at this point in our lives I think it'd be easier...

except... we have a toddler. And I'm afraid she'll terrorize a cat, not knowing better. I can just see her wanting to "play" and pulling the kitties tail and whatnot...

I've never seen a young child around a cat... do you think she could handle it? Or do you think we should wait another year or so until she really understands "gentle"? :shrug:
