I imagine they are looking at where the popular restaurants are with people waiting (means they can't spend money) for their ADRs and pumping up drinks and snacks nearby for purchase. Yes, also enabling the monorail crawl a bit more (or the deluxe boat crawl as my wife and I love to do)

Wouldn't something more along the lines of Alice in Wonderland be more fitting? Royal Caribbean even has a Wonderland dining location on one of their newer ships that with a tweak to more Victorian theming would be so much better thematically then BaTB

Now if they can do a great destination lounge at the Riviera and at the Caribbean Beach, they could have a Skyliner Cocktail Crawl...which would also be great fun...
...not to mention getting all the gondolas "christened" by sick inebriates...

How is that actually better? What does an English mathematician have to do with the Florida seaside?
Can't agree more.

There is actually so much that they could do with the Flagler, early Floridian beach theme if they wanted to juice up the resort (so to speak). It is a culture of it its own that is now almost forgotten -- but would be great theme to mine further.

Why not this and Flagler backstory as part of the S.E.A. franchise?

Might need some creative story crafting but it could possibly be done.

Everyone that has a cocktail and enjoys them doesn;t necessarily drink until they vomit... On here it seems like if you enjoy a drink, then you are an alcoholic... There are always a few people out there that drink too much...But there are those out there that do much worse... I would say diaper smell and other things will be more frequent than a drunk vomiting....

Agreed! That smell in the monorail isn't vomit - it's pee!

Now get me another shot with chaser!

These choices continue to get more perplexing. Having just been to Disneyland Paris, the light themeing of Fantasia Lounge in the Disneyland Hotel could work nicely. But, a multi-room BatB lounge just feels odd.

I am a bit of a cocktail geek, and I greatly enjoyed the relaxed atmosphere of Mizner's. I like the themed lounges, but this has absolutely no appeal. Even if it's an immersive environment, venturing to Beast's castle (um... again, since it's also in the park next door?) destroys the appeal.

I would much rather see a version of Walt's from Disneyland Paris done into a bar. Which could easily feature interactive elements with characters in photos with Walt. His animatronics. Characters in period-appropriate garb. Etc. Walt is an IP not utilized that much, and I think it could be very popular without losing novelty after a few visits.

I really believe, even if surveys say otherwise, difficulty getting a BoG reservation does not translate into equal success as a bar. I anticipate a lot of non-paying attendees to look around without actually buying much in the way of drinks or food.

I know that I should remember, but what is the "S.E.A. franchise"? (Occasionally the acronyms here leave me scratching my head even though I am a "regular" here.)

Its a trope they've tried to keep alive from the Adventurers Club in Pleasure Island.
