Who replaces his voicework ?I enjoyed the changes to Orange but miss Gary to be honest, overall it's still a net gain though for sure.
I did green for the first time ever I was impressed by the range of movement it simulated without spinning, the movie however was dull, I won't be doing it again.
Oh, I'd say there is something wrong with it. At times, it suggests you are simply going through flight training, and at other times, it suggests you are actually going into space.
Gina Torres, I had not heard of her till I read it in this thread but she looks like she is in lots of things!Who replaces his voicework ?
What about those makes them mutually exclusive?
At other times, it suggests you're actually going into space.
Indeed.
And they highlight that right at the end: "Welcome to Mars!"
One woulda thunk theyda say: "Congratulations! You've passed your training and you're ready to go to Mars!"

Okay, I guess I worded it poorly.
At times, it suggests you're not actually leaving the earth, explicitly using the word "simulator" and showing pictures of training on earth. At other times, it suggests you're actually going into space.
...but overall a very solid upgrade IMHO.
The hurricane just means that they're keepin it real.A bit late with my review, but I finally rode the new Green side.
Overall, I enjoyed it as a gentler ride that is available for more people. What's funny is that it felt VERY short, but my guess is that it is the same ride length as before, but the mars mission had more action.
That led me to thinking about mission:space overall....that originally the ride was short because it was dealing with more intense g-forces, etc. and since the new green version is a different experience, that if they don't have long wait times, they should make the ride itself a bit longer.
I thought it was interesting they showed a massive hurricane next to Florida on the ride as well, not sure how I feel about that.
"Congratulations! You've passed your training and you're ready to go to Mars!"
He's 100% gone from the ride. But you still get to hear the same "wooden" performance from a different person.Forgive me if this has already been asked and answered, but do they still have Gary for the Orange experience? Or is he now completely gone?
Why did they take him out?! Unnecessary change. Although I haven't been on the new version yetHe's 100% gone from the ride. But you still get to hear the same "wooden" performance from a different person.
I can't remember the exact reason, someone else will need to chime in. Probably to break the "connection" with Mission to Mars or maybe something political (please correct me!!)? Gina Torres is good, just too bad they didn't polish the script or had her act with more emotion. It's almost like there's just a lady Gary on screen (picturing Gary in drag...ugh).Why did they take him out?! Unnecessary change. Although I haven't been on the new version yet
