this is the dumbest thread I have seen on here. I could post "Jungle Cruise - A FLOP?", "AK - A FLOP?" "WDW a FLOP?". The OP has posted a junk statement just to start this informercial.
Is there a grown up WDWMagic and a preteen WDWMagic version of this forum? This is a totally skank topic as MS is in the most popular (70%) of the rides at WDW barring the youth oriented MK.
Thanks for sharing.

Major Confession!!! I never got to ride Horizons...:lookaroun ( I wish I did though)and I am in my early 30 so I guess I am unworthy of a comment between the two.

I am glad my kids and DH enjoy MS intense, I like Green okay, my BP just can't handle intense or my vertigo. I do ride everything else but this one scares me away from trying. (Maybe they do over warn but I do not want to be puking on my precious vacation days!) :hurl:
I don't really think it is age as some have suggested it just depends on the person. My DD (9) hated EE the first time, but she loved RNRC, ToT, SM,MS Orange (a kazillion times) Splash, and everything else ?

According to the dictionary SKANK means...
1. A rhythmic dance performed to reggae or ska music, characterized by bending forward, raising the knees, and extending the hands.
2. Disgusting or vulgar matter; filth.
3. One who is disgustingly foul or filthy and often considered s--ually promiscuous.

So...this is a topic that either dances very vulgr, is very vulgar and filthy, or is s--ually promiscuous ...

This is just meant as a joke. No offense was meant to any person who posted.

After seeing firsthand how many guests have trouble with the simple task of pulling down a restraint, I have no issues with not offering more complex interactivity.

Would it have been nice? Sure. Is it practical? Depends on how interactive you want to get. Is it necessary? Absolutely not. Having buttons that play sounds, light up, and trigger audio cues during the ride is still more than Soarin' or Track have. Spaceship has the most interactivity of any ride so far and look how well that's been received...

Yet you can't compare that because it's not the fact that it's interactive that's at issue as much as the subject matter does not fit the theme of the ride

In your opinion. There are others who dislike it just because it is a touchscreen.

Also, you're not comparing facts about the ride, just your impressions.

Fact: Spaceship Earth was designed to give an accurate historical account of the history of communication, using life-like AA figures in realistic environments

Fact: The new ending is a cartoon using fantasy, retro-futuristic themes and seemingly impossible activities

Opinion: These two theme do not match.

I'm not disagreeing with you, just pointing out the difference. Just because the opinion is in the majority doesn't make it fact.

So it's your opinion that my facts are my opinion? Your opinion is possibly wrong then

What? No. Your facts are correct.

Your opinion that they don't tie together as cohesive attraction is your opinion. One that I happen to moderately agree with.
