I didn't really mind the decorations while they were up, but seeing the castle with all of it down makes it look so classy, and makes the decorations that were up before seem so... tacky. Anway, great to see the castle back to its normal self.
To all the people wondering about the crane/painting... I have no idea what the actual schedule looks like, but I can give you my educated guess: The new celebration starts October 1st, and there is a huge early morning MK press event going on October 4th... My guess is that they wouldn't want either a big crane or a half-painted castle in all of those press photos... so one could argue that they're probably doing everything ASAP so they can have the castle work done by those dates. (Which would explain why they're painting during park hours.) Again, that's just my guess though.
