Don't forget, our ToT ran that way for a long time.
Yeah, but ours has been "plussed" every few years. Granted, the other Towers will probably eventually get random sequences... but for now, we have that!

Ok, take away the exterior, take away the story, and it's still in Japan.
It still wins.
Make it a slight hill with patchy grass and a sign that says "TOWER" and it's still in a country that has pretty much the best of everything I love, so it still wins over our Tower.
(Don't get me wrong, I love our Tower and the disgruntled feelings of me being stuck in America is in no way meant to be a slight towards any non-Japanese Tower of Terror attraction. :lol: )

Hey, I lived in Japan (okay, Okinawa, but I went to the "mainland" alot) so I know of which I speak...I LOVE Japan but just because the Tower is there doesn't mean it wins.
I'd still take the "lesser" Tower if I could have all that beautiful themeing and attractions that make up the rest of DisneySea though!Of course, I'm biased as ToT in FL is my all-time favorite attraction anywhere! Riding Space Mountain in CA for the first time three weeks ago momentarily displaced it, but on further thought I still like the ToT a little (or sukoshi) bit more!

Because at least you can photograph SSE at night! Tower is IMPOSSIBLE to get for me at night, it's just so dim...
and I'll never get tired of the reverse sunset lighting.

It's true...I often lie about these things. :lookaroun:lol: I rather like it too, but really would like a color changing feature to return.

This is the best I've been able to get, back in 2005:
Long-term exposure, tweaked a little afterward, too. I didn't even have a tripod with me. I was bracing the camera against a light pole or on a garbage can. I'll have to see what I can get with the new lighting in June.

Nice! Hopefully the new lighting will give it a great glow in the pictures, like DCA's and Tokyo's.

New update!
I was at Tower today, the elevators now "peak out" of the drop shafts at the top of the shaft, just like they used to! They just started running this with three of the four drop sequences (Tower 3 sequence doesn't have it... yet) and I must say that it is an amazing effect!
Also, when I was there, an awesome cast member named Blaise loaded me into my elevator! He was TERRIFIC! He was perfectly rude, and did not smile to anyone! Oh! and he was VERY SCARY. Not once did he make eye contact with ANYONE on the load platform. It was really crazy how he seemed to ignore everyone, and focused on doing a great job with theming! Great job Blaise! If any higher ups are reading this, give that man a promotion!
Overall I had a great day at Studios, much better than my day at DEPCOT. I can't believe they don't just put a roller coaster in the golf ball! But, at least I got to see a picture of me picking my nose fly into the ocean!

You DO know those rumors were all completely based in truth, right? The whole Time Racers / roller coaster thing was definitely not just internet mumbo jumbo. I can't post them, but remind me and the next time I'm around the Studios I'll show you some concept art.
