He said he thinks it will soft by 4/2, but that he'd be there 4/13-14 and hoped they would be lucky. I thought you were responding to his "hope".

I still think ~4/2 is possible though.

The big thing holding back any chance at softs for the time being is there isn't a trained cast yet. From what I heard just a few days ago, they haven't even started either.

Screamscape is reporting that training doesn't even begin until April 20th. That seems real late to me.

Depends really, I think everyone assumes that Disney will open it as soon as possible. However, if their plan is to open it on a specific date than that would have been chosen to give them plenty of training time.

A friend of ours is waiting on a call back for it. She had the interviews for it and now she waits.

Seems too late to me. The rest of FLE (and other new rides I can think of) were open for weeks before their media event. The schedule screamscape is describing allows for only about a week of soft openings and I don't believe that will be enough.

I'd sure hope so... unless they start installing that faux grass blade by blade. Wouldn't put anything past them at this point.
