There is a WDW press event running from April 30 to May 2, and the park opens at 9:00 AM on May 2, do that date and time are pretty plausible for the official grand opening.

Would they soft open a new ride during spring break with crowd levels a solid 10 for 2 weeks? I would think they would prefer to get in some time before the crowds hit.
