Soft opening February 2014. And since I'm trying to convince my wife to go to WDW on March 14. Let's say actual opening March 10. You read it here first.

You have to remember that a lot of the blog sites go to the parks and then post the photos up days later. So you may see an accurate update on the 9th and then one posted on the 14th may actually be from the 10th, it just took them how long to take the time to upload them.

All I take away from this is that I should NEVER hire a construction company that only employs dwarfs. Or dwarves.

I notice that part one in the series was posted on Oct 9th. It may well be that parts 2, 3, and 4 were shot the same day but posted later. I'll have to watch out for that.
So, what we need is for you to go soon and get us some pictures with a known date.

There's nothing wrong with using dwarves. But you need to use more than seven of them if you plan to understake such a large construction project and complete it in a reasonable amount of time.

The ride is getting close. There isn't much wire mess left and I bet that the fake plants will begin showing up within the next month

SO they finally got rid of the mesh in the front. Now time for paint, honestly if they are working at a pace they should be this thing should be done within 2-3 months. You know what maybe even shorter, all they have to do is lay out the foundation for the plants/trees and paint the front. Almost everything else is themed and ready. The inside scene shouldn't take that long considering its short length.

You are so right. I feel bad for 7 Dwarfs coaster because it is not scheduled to open until march of 2014. I don't feel it will open for testing much before that because of the slow construction schedule. Parts of the Harry Potter 2.0 expansion are scheduled for testing by March of next year (rumor). If the Mine coaster doesn't hurry up with construction I'm afraid what ever is tested at Harry Potter 2.0 in march will over shadow the 7 Dwarfs Mine coasters grand opening.
