Who knows. At this rate, wouldn't be suprised if they were permanently frozen. But I think they'll (TDO/park Management) treat it as a on and off again thing.

Don't they slap a store at the end of every ride? LOL
The only date in 2014 that I remember seeing for the Mine Train opening is "early."
Someone else will be able to confirm, but I don't think they'll be able to announce a firm opening date (or month) until late summer at the earliest. That's their M.O. lately. Makes sense when constructing such a monstrosity from scratch. Especially with the unique suspended train car system that they have supposedly created for this ride.

It's hard to tell from the photos but looks like the framing for the rock work has started on the frontside of the mountain, is that right? photos 1,2, & 7

Yeah, to me it definitely looks like the framing of the frontside rock work is beginning to take shape. Best one to look at is the 2nd picture. I could be wrong though.

Ok, thanks, I see it in photos 1,2, & 7, but I guess photos 9 & 10 are over exposed or something because it looks like nothing is there

Look at the dates under the pictures. 7th is from January 23rd and 9 and 10 are from December 5th. Most of the above the loading station metal work for the hill is in place now, just needs rebar and plaster.

we've used the touring plans from touringplans.com (and from the Unofficial Guide). We waited in line less than we would have otherwise. If that's what you're asking.
