Mine Ride Construction Update

You start with a giant hole in the ground, you have to build the thing on which the artificial landscaping sits. There are companies around the US that specialize in themed rockwork exactly like what is all over New Fantasyland, so the learning curve is not as bad as one might initially think.

Agreed, but the question is will it be maintained to the show quality levels of when it opens. I'm already seeing signs of neglect in the current open FLE.

I've read mention of some things in Belle that are already broken or not working properly as well.

After New Fantasyland is done being built, how many stores/gift shops will there be (counting the ones that already opened)?

The expansion added one new gift shop so far, Bonjour Gifts and re-did the one that was in Toon Town which is now Big Top Souvenirs. Is it also expected that there will be one more added for Little Mermaid along the back of the mine ride.

Don't know. There is already a Seven Dwarfs themed shop in that area, so they might not add one to the mine ride.
