Mine Ride Construction Update

I believe it is that close but that is not uncommon for many exposed coasters. You will always have stupid people who will do stupid things unfortunately. Also there are many bridges in WDW where people could fall over and they haven't.

It looks closer in the pictures. Its definitely close, but when you see it in person, there is a decent barrier between the guest and the attractions track. You would really have to be purposefully trying to get up there, but there is no chance you could reach out your arm and have something happen, its not that close. You could essentially hop the fence at BTMRR or Splash Mountain and get in the way of the cars / logs if you REALLY wanted too, so I don't see this as anything different.

And the jagged stones on the top of the wall will deter people from trying to sit up there.

Where? The walls in the background of your picture have always been there. Do you mean that tarped area in the foreground?

I think that the walls in the background are the same walls but moved back to a new location -- previously they were in front of the stone wall and (now) tarped area.

This. Sorry. Was walking and typing earlier. Anyone know what the tarps are? Mine train walls were moved towards ride

Standing in new area across Erics castle. Nice little spot for fireworks. Was walled off yesterday.

They seem to be reconfiguring a bunch of open spaces around MK. This one, the area directly in front of the castle and the walkway between Liberty Square and Frontierland. My guess is FP+ viewing areas for Wishes and Parades.

I'm still confused at what I'm looking at. There is a brick wall in the tarp pic, where is that brick wall in the aerial?

My guess is stroller parking. The tarp is to keep the strollers dry if it rains;). I would have guessed DVC sales kiosk, but that was already the answer to the mystery building on the side that faces LM.

Surprised at how fast the train was moving and how much the track bends. Looks faster than Barnstormer.

How do I upload a video?

You would have to have the video hosted on another site (like YouTube) then you can link to it. This forum doesn't support uploading videos directly.
