The target has always been January-March. (Yes, it has taken this long on purpose.)

I'm going with @Rose&Crowner Consistent is better than accurate, right? Besides, all they need to do is plant some fake grass, put a roof and facade on the cottage, finish the queue, train some cast members, and boom. How could that possibly take more than 2 days?

The 11/29/2012 date referenced by @Rose&Crowner is the day he stated that the Rapunzel tower would appear. He was correct on that. It is also the only data point I have that gives credence to his current claim that the 7DMT will soft open for the general public on Friday, 2/7/2014.

Because he has neither backed off his claim, nor indicated that we misunderstand his claim, his reputation here hangs in the balance.

I hope he is right in all honesty I would love to see it open, but I can tell you from being on site literally January 31st that the ride looked no where near done......Could they of completed a lot since then, of course but I highly doubt (though wish) it.

Well, the context of your statements allow me to interpret the date as the opening of Rapunzel Tower Meet and Greet only if the 7DMT opens with it, and I'm tired of looking for other meanings. I can wait two days and see what happens.

Not sure, but since it's unlikely it's this Friday, and I like a puzzle like anyone else, perhaps it's hidden in adding up the number of days between those dates? If I do that, I come up with something around 4/3/14 (took the number of days left in 2012, plus the ones in 2013, plus the number in 2014 until 2/7 to get there). For those looking for specificity, well, have at it on your own...I'm tired, too many other things in life right now for me to get too deep into this!

I figure, at the very least, you might come clean on Friday and fill us in!
