If this turns out as good as Potter I think it is fair to say that the cram of the crop of theme Park Designers reside within Universal Creative rather than Walt Disney Imagineering.

Well, The Hobbit seems to be a success at the box office, but not as planned I believe. Whatever any other park does shouldn't drive what WDW does. I just hate that WDW can't keep up it's "spotless" reputation, and always seems to have to "compete" w/ the other parks!:( I just hope WDW does something new and exciting soon w/ all of the rumors about Carsland and Avatarland, etc...

Nope, I recall Universal material calling the theme as being to literature. Even the Lighthouse icon is intended to be the Lighthouse of Alexandria.

Besides, if you called it "Islands of Books", nobody would come.
Source of this info? I am pretty sure I remember hearing it was adventure (either at the opening or a making of video). But still, both themes would work!

So maybe this is Uni's way of replacing the Marvel Land once the contract is up. I don't think in anyway will this trump the Mouse, there is enough buisness for everyone this will just bring more for Orlando.

Marvel isn't an option in Florida so the only gun they have is Star Wars are there's no sign of them pulling the trigger anytime soon.

Maybe in a year or two, Disney will announce a Star Wars Land. They can't go to quickly into it though, so I say give them some time. I would rather Disney wait a few years to plan these new additions then to rush and cut and make something that does not work.

There's a Great Big Beautiful Tomorrow.....

So this seems to be a 8 to 10 year time frame until complete. I would be very surprised if this actually gets greenlit.
