Mickey's Toontown Fair begins its transformation February 2011

Its a sad thing to see Toontown gone. But whats getting replaced I'm sure will make it worthwhile. I just wonder if they are going to keep the houses and possibly to a bigger and more improved toontown sometime in the future (maybe as a 60th anniversary).

60th anniversary? For what, Disneyland (in 2015, which is coming up very soon) or WDW (in 2031)? Or something else?

I think Toontown would be back. A lot of people miss it now...imagine 20 years from now when they announce a new land in wdw for mickey and his pals. But it would be toontown to the extreme. with houses for mickey, nemo, alice, maleficent, and other random disney toons. i think it would be a great idea. and of course 1 toon would move out and have another one move in...that way its always changing. =D

There are soo many other rides that can be replaced. Why did they choose Toon Town? I am sure that they don't need that much room and that if they chose a smaller space, they would be able to adjust their plans to make the circus just as good. I look forward to visiting Toon Town every trip and I don't think I will be able to make it back before February.

I wish it would stay open one more weekend and close on Monday the 14th instead of closing on Friday 11th. My girlfriend and I really wanna go see it one more time, well, i've been to the park a few times but never went and saw it. The only problem is for the last 3 weekends since I found out and the next 3 weekends we have both had something to do. The first weekend we can go for a one day trip would be the 11th-13th but we would be driving all day on the 11th just to get there. Sadly I dont think We will make it.

It closes for good on the 13th. Go BEFORE the 14th and you will make it.

So it closes that Sunday? I've read in another thread on here (forgot where) that it closes on the 11th. If it doesnt close til the 13th, we can definitely make it that weekend. I need to find out the definite closing date.

yeah i've heard the 11th too for a closing date. i have it saved in my phone as...ToonTown Closes Yay!!!! lol.
