So I just went to the preview. It is still very much the small screen experience like in Paris, unfortunately. The wall screens don’t really add to the wrap-around effect, as there is a gap between the regular screen and these side screens. For example, it just adds extra bubbles and seaweed to the Ariel scene, not really acting as an extension of the main screen.
And for some reason, even when all screens are being used, the entire main screen is never utilized at all in the show. There’s always an unused black section at the top.

I will say that the digital video is much better and looks like it actually belongs in this decade, unlike the MK version. Overall, though, this could have been much better than it ended up being

Is the disappearing proscenium effect there? I doubt it.

Sounds as lackluster as I imagined. They need to run a variation of this before each showing:

Did the butt make it?

WALT LIVES! All hail the duck butt!

Honestly I’d take it over the extra wide screen... if they could have done a disappearing proscenium I would have been stoked, but at least with Donald’s butt this feels more permanent.

the fake curtain effect on the screen is kinda distracting but other than that, not bad. i'm happy to be wrong; although it's not the MK version of philharmagic, it's good for what it is

Uh, so there just happens to be a little red curtain right where Donald accidentally crashes? And the curtain closes up pretty quick too.
