Mickey and Minnie's Runaway Railway confirmed

I experienced the park without GMR for the first time this past week. I have to say, the park definitely feels like it has lost its soul. Yes, tower is still a fun ride and star tours is too, but something feels like it is missing. I want this new ride to be great, but I don’t know that it will be great enough to fill that space.
If this park ever actually had a "soul", it started losing it when it stopped being a functioning studio. Ever since it's be a descent into a mish-mash of disconnected IPs - and the addition of TSL and SWL, as "good" or "bad" as they may be, is just a continuation of this process. The only "theme" that the park may have is "everything that doesn't fit in one of the other parks". And through all of the announcements and rumors, I've read nothing to indicate that there is some master plan that will actually tie everything together.

I think DL's Fantasyland is too dependent on the cheap and quaint little dark rides. MK has a good diversity of attractions in its FL.
But it has FIVE "cheap quaint dark rides" (six, if you count Toontown as part of FL) of them to MK's THREE. And the DL iasw is an order of magnitude better than the sorry attempt in the MK. And the Storybookland canal boats. And the Casey Jr. Railroad. And there's a attraction in the castle vice just a rip-off meet the Princesses meal. And can you say Matterhorn?

SDMT is better than Matterhorn because you don't get a migraine from riding. I'm serious, on the TL side I had to take an Advil after, and I hate that stuff! Storybookland is cute but I hated being stuck in a cage ("oh but it's part of the charm!"). IASW is better in DL I never said it was better at MK.

I'm going to ask a question that'll probably make me look silly but why is it taking so long? If it's all projections with a few AAs thrown in then shouldn't that cut the time frame down?
Although I'm sure it could be done faster if Disney really wanted to do it, there is a lot to do. They have to remove all of the old sets and the old ride system, probably do some extensive construction inside, install a new hi-tech ride system, install the new sets and projection system, and then get all the parts and pieces working together. I'm not a ride engineer so I don't know exactly how long it would take to do all of this, but it's not a simple process.

I’ve heard nothing about WDWs Pan I’m afraid. Even bringing the visuals up to EDL 92 standards would be a start.

It is criminal that they haven't even added the cheap and simple fiber optic starfield there. I gasped when I saw them in Disneyland's Pan, they are so effective. You can add a starfield using the same exact materials to your child's bedroom for a few hundred dollars these days, I just cannot understand why they haven't done it at WDW. It's embarrassing.

Not to mention the ancient "Someone doing the crappiest impression of Captain Hook and Smee ever" voices that haven't been replaced despite having Corey Burton audio recorded for Disneyland in the 80s that could be slotted in overnight.
