As of now, HHN is still scheduled to start Sep 10. I could see them trying to do the rumored Fall Festival as well to capitalize on Disney's cancelling of MNSSHP.

I also could see Disney coming up with another Halloween paid event like when they did Return to Sleepy Hollow.

SO........Should we expect UOR's HHN Cancellation in the next hour or so?!?!?!?! Because if that's allowed to go on....Something's VERY Fishy here!!!!

Oh yes let's continue F+W with a whole lot of drunk people at Epcot at Closing time!!!!

^Sorry!!! Was holding out Hope for MNSSHP since I thought UOR was holding HHN auditions. Also I'm not looking forward to this Fathers Day!!

Do we need to worry about MVMCP now?!?!?! I wasn't but now.......

This has to be because of budgetary constraints. We are always talking about how much money Disney has but even now they are so vulnerable. It’s sad, I don’t think this ends unless we have a vaccine so here’s hoping we get one ASAP

This is so sad. This has me worried about the reopening and the sudden rise of cases in the last few days. MNSSHP is our favorite event and the fact that others won't be able to experience it this year just hurts.

If the pandemic is even semi-present in October it'd be utter foolish to run HHN. Social distancing would be almost impossible.

i’m not surprised by this announcement & it makes sense, given the circumstances. we still have a trip booked for oct/nov, but i’ll miss trying the party exclusive snacks.

Idk... MNSSHP is a lot more kid/show/parade centered which could complicate social distancing much more than HHN. Once they figure out pulsing of the houses I think you would be fine distancing in scare zones etc.

I get it, but this sucks, finally had Halloween Night tickets...
Now not sure if it's even worth going on our trip or not...

Isn't Epcot always crowded during F+W??? So How is TDO going to handle that? Before today we thought the No-Festival Epcot was opening on July 15th. Now that its F+W, wouldn't that bring more people in???

They'll still have reduced capacity. Remember... reservations. The locals won't be able to just swing by for a Saturday afternoon.

I still know a ton of cms that work there from when I did and I’ve been hearing from the grapevine Disney will postpone it’s opening. If I had any trip plans this year I’d cancel

I think this is probably more about trying to get anyone to show up to EPCOT at all. People weren’t going to be interested in blowing a whole park reservation day just to ride Frozen and TT.

Really? Even with the F+W news today? Any new dates being thrown around?? Better I here it here first before DPB so I'm prepared.

No...it’s because they don’t want the liability. Same reason they’ve drug their feet with everything else.

“Budget constraints” are somewhat arbitrary when you can’t see the bottom of your pockets with a radio telescope
