I was just browsing through YouTube and decided to watch A Frozen Holiday Wish, I just realized they used live vocals. I wonder if this new show will use live vocals? And maybe someone will realize "Most Merriest" is not dramatically correct in any sense.

DisneyAuditions held auditions for live vocalists specifically for Most Merriest, so I think it's safe to say that there will be live vocals.

Thank you! I thought I read that somewhere but I couldn't remember. Makes you wonder why Royal Friendship Faire wasn't live vocals. I've stated before that I prefer prerecorded vocals for the characters, but it does add a different level to the show.

Let's just hope they don't go with the face character approach like Disney On Ice and one show at one of the boats at Disney Cruise Line did.


I am looking forward to seeing Jiminy with a moving head though. Only 2 more months until the show debuts.

More like under 2 months! Anyone know the length of the show? Longer than CTS? How many per night during MVMCP?

Definitely. Rehearsals have been going on for a while, I'm sure once they have a dress rehearsal on the Castle stage they'll announce more info.

Knowing how WDW loves to reuse stuff from other parks, music in particular, I wonder if they might reuse music from the old TDLs Mickeys Jolly Snowtime and Christmas Wishes over at TDS.

Knowing how WDW loves to reuse stuff from other parks, music in particular, I wonder if they might reuse music from the old TDLs Mickeys Jolly Snowtime and Christmas Wishes over at TDS.

I'm pretty sure WDW doesn't reuse anything from ToykoDisney resort as its not owned nor operated by them.

Even though Disney doesn't own the resort, the parks and all new rides and shows have been designed by Imagineering. Disney can use stuff from Tokyo (though there might be a 5-year exclusivity or something) just as Tokyo has rides that originated in the US parks.

Perhaps a more relevant example is the fact that Duffy, a character that originated in Japan, was brought to the US parks. If they can bring a character over, they can bring some music over.

"Duffy" as a name came from Tokyo Disneyland, the actual design, base story, and original selling of the bear was not. It was created to promote Once Upon a Toy and sold there nearly exclusively for a few years before it moved to Tokyo and re-imagined as "Duffy".
