Well, I too am curious to know what Steve looks like, so I went to Google and did a search for Steve's picture, and this is what came up. So, lo and behold, I give you "Steve".

jaja. I remember he likes all kinds of slick cars. And he sent me once a picture of a black cool car with freakazoids head in the winshield. I don't know. Im wierd. I guess that got stuck in my head. :brick:

When I first joined the forums, I used to get confused between Maria & Mom (when she had her old username), I used to think that NowInc was really old (because of his Haunted Mansion avatar :lol and I used to think that Jay Rod (he comes to mind when I think of this story) worked in Disney because under his name it said Cast Member or something like that, and I remember thinking "Wow, there sure are a lot of Disney employees on these boards" :lol:

At first I thought there were actual imagineers on the site. Just like your current rank. Junior Imagineer. hahaha I remember I once asked a really specific question to a particular person thinking he was an imagineer cuz of the rank he had.

Gary looked pretty. (right on that one!)
Brian was a freak. (check again)
Scott was a bit too preachy. (Er... *pleads the fifth*)
Vince was all wet. :lookaroun
Erika and Maria were the forum beauties. (still true )
Those were the people I really remember from first being here... everybody else came later. (at least in my memory) I do remember thinking Nimmy must be at least 45 years old. I also remember how odd it struck me that I'm older than Steve! (Yet I'm so much more immature )

I'm just an almost 28 year old mother of four with flat feet, high cholesterol, a mini van, and a deep love for Disney and Kid Rock. Picture what you will.

When I first came here, I really didn't talk to many people. I just talked to the people I already knew before Magic, Rob, Darrel, and Angel. Beyond that, for the first few months, I don't think I said much to anyone. I was kinda afraid of everyone, like I really didn't belong here. Magic seemed like this close-knit community and I kinda felt like an outsider looking in. I wasn't sure if people liked me. Jer called me a "rogue"! Hehe, but after a few months, I actually started to talk to some people and felt welcomed into the community.

Here's what I thought of some of you.

Rob: You were the absolute first Disney person I ever knew online. After my first trip to WDW, I got obsessed with Disney and found one of your posts on Intercot and joined. I always thought you were this older guy, but then I found out you were my age. Hehe.

Darrel: Although we saw each other over at Intercot, I don't think we ever said much to each other until the last couple months of my stay there and then moving over to Magic. I discovered what a nice guy you really are.

Angel: I met you before I came to Magic. Rob invited you to one of our old Intercot chats. At first, I thought you were Rob's girlfriend. Hehe. I saw your buddy info and it had swearing in it and that made me think you were this wild, badass girl. :lol: Boy was I wrong!

Paula: You were one of the first Magic people I ever talked to. When you first asked about Kingdom Hearts, I went "Hey, I finally have someone I can talk to!" I imagined you were very sweet, innocent, and mom-like... but now :lookaroun Hehe, just kidding.

Jer: I really did not think you liked me at all. :lol: I remember the IASW thread, I kept getting under your skin. I thought "he really must not like me". But now I know otherwise, you're one the coolest people here.

Brian: I thought you were Angel's neighbor. The way you two always talked, I thought you guys lived like next door to each other or something. Kinda like that goofy guy down the hall. :lol:

Erika: I was always afraid to talk to you before because you were so pretty. I thought "someone that pretty and nice prolly wouldn't want to chat with me." But you did, and you're one of the nicest members around.

Christy: I met you only a couple months after really becoming a part of Magic community. I thought you were this 40 yr old woman with a lot of kids. Hehehehe. I really didn't think we would say much to each other but then we began talking to each other every morning and got to know each other. You've become one of my best friends online.
