Meeting Princesses

For the first time in a long time, my family will be going to WDW with a child. Where's the best place to meet & greet with princesses (especially Snow White)? This isn't for me, of course; it's for my two-year-old niece. They're doing the princess Character Dinner at Grand Floridian, but my sister and brother-in-law are looking for a more informal meet & greet.

In Toontown in the Mk there is a meet and greet line in the Toontown hall of fame for princesses. Toontown opens at 10:00 a.m. Be at the rope a few minutes before and go straight to the meet and greet...otherwise you will have a long wait. Here is some info from allearsnet about it....there is a section about the princesses towards the bottom:

ATTRACTION -- Toontown Hall of Fame -- As you approach the Hall of Fame/County Bounty facade, you pass through Cornelius Coot Commons. Be sure to stop and read the dedication plaque, which reminds you that all of Mickey's Toontown Fair is dedicated to that enterprising old farmer, "Cornelius Coot, who turned his corn crop into loot."

Inside, you'll find the County Bounty, which features plush animals and all kinds of Toontown souvenirs, as well as special Toontown Fair "blue ribbon-winners." Beyond the merchandise area, there are three rooms, each with its own line, for private meetings with a variety of Disney characters. You're welcomed by stars from all sorts of favorite Disney animated shorts and classic feature films -- signs will tell you who's currently greeting guests in each room. These characters MAY appear: Storybook Friends - Pooh, Tigger, Piglet and sometimes Eeyore; Famous Pals - Minnie, Goofy, and Pluto; Toon Pals - Donald and Daisy. (All characters are subject to change.)

Meet your favorite Disney princesses in the Princess Room. The Princess Room debuted in early October 2004 to meet the high demand for meet-and-greet opportunities with JUST the princesses.

Princesses are on a rotating schedule, so ask before you wait in line as to which are currently greeting guests. Princesses on the schedule include:
Aurora (aka Sleeping Beauty), Snow White, and Cinderella (and her mice Suzy and Perla). Mary Poppins may also be in the rotation, and other princesses may be added to the schedule.

We were lucky enought to run into Snow White and all seven dwarfs(twice) about an hour before closing at MK in Fantasy Land.

We have also seen her near the Germany pavilion as someone else mentioned. GOOD LUCK!!

You could go to the Akershus Storybook meal. It normally has Ariel, Snow White, Pocahontas, Aurora, Belle, Mary Poppins and sometimes Cinderella.
They all come around to each table during Dinner one at a time.
They all may not be there but most will be every day.

I don't think that Snow White is at the Grand Floridian character dinner. I believe the only princess at that dinner is Cinderella.
For maximum princesses, you should book breakfast at the Norwegian Pavillion in Epcot.
You can meet princesses at Toon Town but they usually rush you through. You'll get more quality time with the princesses if you do a character meal.

You've already got plenty of information on where. But just let me add that it's so exciting to meet them! I got to do it recently and was completely in awe. Have fun!!

I ran in to Snow White last June at the International Gateway. No one seemed to notice her, which I thought was weird, but hey! Got my picture!

Ask any CM to tell you where Snow White is on any given day--they have a hotline they can call so you can get the scoop. Otherwise, just keep a sharp eye out! Good luck!

The best places to find princesses are Toontown and WS at Epcot. Toontown usually has Cinderella, Belle (in yellow gown) and Aurora in the Storybook Room. Jasmine is near the Carpet ride. Then in Epcot you have Mulan in China, Snow White in Germany, Belle (blue dress) and Aurora in France, and Mary Poppins and Alice in UK. There is also chances of seeing princesses at the Hat in the afternoon after DSMC, but no guarantee. Oh, and Pocahontas is at AK at the Conservation Station.

Just an FYI, Toon Town is undergoing big changes in terms of character meet and greets. Snow White will be headed outside either near the castle or near her ride (same thing sort of). A lot of the characters will be headed outside. So check with CMs before heading out to see characters. The changes start begining Sept 3rd. Chip and Dale will only be seen at the beginning of the park. I'm not sure where Goofy is going. I think Daisy is being booted to the front of the park only and...you know what, I don't know for sure. All I know is that C&D won't be in Toon Town and neither will Snow White.

I second Tracy - Germany was where we were able to meet Snow White (finally!). Everyday, as we would enter the park, I would harrass a poor cast member and ask if Snow White would be in the park that day. Finally, the day before we left, she was in Germany at 1:00. And yes - I staked her out! LOL:D

The princesses are great fun. My children love asking them questions about their castles and ponies and such. Best of luck and have lots of fun for me!!!

So who is going to be in Mickey's Pals room? The only regulars left are Pluto and Donald.
Does anyone have more info on the meet and greet changes?

As much as I love Chip n Dale I am kind of glad to hear this. They seem to have the VIP's all over the place. Are they planning on putting different characters back in Toon Town to replace them??

Actually, Pluto is currently appearing at Minnie's Gazebo, behind her house.

Minnie is still appearing in the Hall of Fame and so is Donald, so that leaves Minnie and Donald as the only remaining regulars at the Hall of Fame...unless they decide to keep Goofy in there as well.

For Snow White:
Toontown Square
Sometimes at Cinderella's Royal Table
Princess Storybook Breakfast in Norway at the WS in Epcot

On a pretty regular basis (although surprises are sometimes thrown in), one room will have Minnie, Daisy, and Donald. The second room will have Chip & Dale, Goofy, and Snow White. The third room has Aurora, Cinderella, and Belle. Pluto is often at the Gazebo or inside with Minnie. So the princesses will still have their room. I suspect Minnie & Donald will stay and either Daisy, Pluto, or Goofy will join them. That is just speculation on my part with no official info. The third room, I think is going to undergo refurbishment for a bit.
