Could always draw elements from the lost Disney Channel Show. I bet you never knew that Dreamfinder actually has a name.

Bewilderness - sounds like the present-day FutureWorld.

Seekers of the Weird has been a pretty solid take on the Museum of the Weird concepts and feels like one of Disney's 80s live-action movies, though the Uncle Roland character screams Johnny Depp.

And considering all the Dreamfinder baiting the last couple years and that this teaser came up the day after the anniversary of the original's opening, I'm pretty optimistic about what the content could be. Also, the writer is working on the Samurai Jack comic at IDW, so that's cool.

That's good to hear! I am planning on picking up the first two issues of the Museum of the Weird comic today.

Well there'll also be a nice hardcover volume with the whole thing in June as well. Of course, I've been breaking my "wait for the trades" rule with Disney Kingdoms out of concern for whether it'd catch on with Seekers of the Weird and of course they follow it up with something that'll make me want to throw my money at it right away.

So this is happening.

Let's hope they're focusing more on the old lore rather then the Institute.

I'm all for this if it means that the ride receives some positive attention for the Imagineers. If you are a true Figment/Journey Into Imagination fan, you'll embrace this and hope it turns some heads at WDW Management.

It was pretty good, can't wait until the 3rd issue! I think that this is a great idea for a series, now you'll be happy with the Figment series. Wonder what will come next? Maybe some sort of Horizons continuation?

I knew they'd probably redesign Dreamfinder if they'd ever bring him back, but I wasn't expecting him to be this Depp-ish. Is this what Old School Doctor Who fans felt like when they first started NuWho?
I dig it. I am all for an updated sleeker (better looking) dream finder.

While looking at this picture something occurred to me as a possible scenario. Could it be that this series will start out with a younger Dreamfinder? As the series progresses maybe he will come to resemble the figure we know today? Just throwing that out there.
