Does anyone know if they will do with Figment what they are doing with Seekers of the Weird - creating a hardcover book that has all of the issues in one book?

Most likely. The trade paperback market is an INCREDIBLY important part of modern comic book publishing.

Basically the most important part, sales wise.

I wrote a couple posts about the Figment comic and the business of comics in the Spirit thread, page 300. I'm not sure if I should copy/paste them here.

Indeed, though it remains to be seen how digital distribution will affect it, if there's any effect at all.

But, in the late '90s, when Marvel was beating DC in individual issue sales, DC still managed to be the #1 publisher sales wise simply because they jumped on the TPB wagon first. Marvel eventually caught up though, and then some.

My Dad gets comics. He ordered it for me. (And got the poster as well, I'll take a picture of it later.... if I rememeber)

It's very well written, and I can understand where the plot is heading immediately too.
Though I won't write anything about it in case people want to read it.

Just received my copy from the mail today. I really enjoyed the introduction of this series. Blair reminds me of crossover between Milo from Atlantis and Lewis from Meet the Robinsons, a kid coming from humble beginnings leaning towards greatness by following his dreams. I can't wait for the second issue!!

They're really doing a great job with this series. The Seekers of the Weird story was really interesting and very imaginative and this Figment one is off to a great start. This could have made a great movie.

The dedicated Dreamfinder & Figment fans have spoken with their wallets yet again....

Now if only we could see that proposed re-Imagining of the Imagination Pavilion with these beloved original residents.
If only the decision makers on such matters would realize that once again, D & F fans would 'vote with their wallets' on a much larger scale and make turnstiles spin at the prospect of experiencing a new, truly imaginative and utterly amazing new Attraction featuring their favorites.

It would indeed be nice to see that happen.

Totally jealous for the bolded part right now. Getting anything Figment is just plain wonderful! {I just need the shirt, mug and magnet now, but a POSTER would be perfect}
