Marvel in Hollywood Studios?

I think the closest we'll see to Marvel at WDW in the foreseeable future is maybe Big Hero 6 characters on a parade float. They might be able to pull off something with Guardians of the Galaxy as well. Only they know what they are capable of for sure, and even then, Universal could still try to challenge it somehow.

I think the easiest thing to do would be to add a Marvel M&G to a hotel meal. I think that would be allowed and they could use whomever is in the latest and greatest films.

The ideal property expansion: One BlockbusterE-Ticket, One or two Capacity adding rides, a unique food and beverage and unique merchandise. And M&G wouldn't kill it if it was done on impressive/minor scale.

That is very interesting! I wonder how far Disney could take Marvel at the hotels. I mean, they could go from a meal promotion to an actual hotel/resort. I could definitely see a Marvel value hotel along the lines of AoA or PC. Better yet, they could do one with Star Wars, Marvel, and maybe a third section (an action themed resort). That would be cool and would technically not be in the theme park. I wonder if it's too close to the park concept or not though. The meal idea is definitely feasible, IMO.

I was thinking this the other day. I was also thinking of a store at DTD with MG. the hotel idea would be great with a restaurants. I would like it to be a moderate so there will be sit downs.

Could they add a clip from Avengers to the highlight reel at the end of GMR or put props in the AFI showcase or the Planet Hollywood store (the one inside DHS)? The rights issues in these cases seem different than in the rest of the parks as they feature properties Disney doesn't have the rights to and at least one (the Terminator) that Universal has in their parks.

Won't happen, Universal would sue so hard and so fast they would throw the Marvel rights away just to get away from it.

Not to mention INTENSE brand confusion, having two competing companies with the same characters.

I am not a fan of marvel today and bc of the crap load of a movie of IM3 it was garbage.
Out of curiosity what didnt you like about it? Haven't seen it though I will at some point soonish. Do you now not specifically like Marvel because of the movie? Or just in general and why?

Why would Disney want to clearly offer a Marvel experience that is clearly lesser than Marvel Superhero Island?

While we're on the subject of thread topics which never cease to appear on a weekly basis, did any of you hear that if you shout "Andy's Coming!" to Woody, Jesse, or Buzz...they fall down?

p.s. Which films are under-represented at the parks, and what celebrities have you seen at WDW?
