So folks on here, myself included, appear to be trying to make an honest effort to head off, what you say is, an oncoming train... before it gets past the last track switch and destroys a monument to creativity on Sunset Blvd. Yet the vibe you put out is that we are wasting our time.

Then what, o great one, will make a difference???

I don't think as a fan and customer one is ever wasting their time by letting management know what they don't like (or what they do). Smart businesses listen. Disney doesn't really qualify as smart.

But talking about it in social media, contacting people at Disney (try Dr. Blondie or her west coast pal CupcakeToo) and letting them know is smart ... using Twitter and all Disney's favorite platforms etc.

They are NOT happy this news is out. ... Oh, and please WDW fans, don't complain and about it being wrong for WDW, but tell the it's OK to destroy Anaheim's ToT. It is wrong. Period.

Perhaps in this case it's the rare perfection of IP, story, setting, building, ride system and execution all coming together perfectly to greater than the sum of its parts. Much like Splash Mountain.

But remove one cog of the machine and the other parts can't make up for it.
Like when "If You Had Wings" was turned into "If You Could Fly." The theme song serendipitously unified the attraction and made it more than an omnimover past the loudest assortment of 1000 film projectors clattering away into a unique and influential attraction.

BTW, I just noticed this thread has 102 FB likes. That is astounding to me.

I have put out far juicier and meatier threads that have gone on for months and generated 4-5 likes ... clearly, the fan community is either nearing a breaking point ... or y'all just have become Marvel fans and want a talking raccoon in your Towers. I do not.
I'd hope it's the first one. Finally something the vast majority of fans can agree is a crap move (not that I actually want this).

If this actually becomes a thing I say that we as fans should begin a revolt! Enough is enough! Changing Tower of Terror like this is a huge slap in the face to every single Disney Theme Park fan. We need to start a hashtag, and list every single embarrassing and shameful thing that has happened in the parks recent history because of management. We need to take back our parks, now!

In the immortal words of Dee Snider, we're not gonna take it anymore.

I say we take this up a notch, I say we start sabotaging their marketing campaigns. Start filling their social media tags with the shameful facts about the companies practices and decisions as of late. See if that starts making waves.
