What's also weird at Kings Island is I have seen one location (Snoopy's Boutique maybe?) that had Minnie and Olaf plush. Which is more of a distributor thing, but still odd. It got confusing when they lost the Paramount rights, but could keep the rights to Nickelodeon for a few years. After losing those, they could keep the Spongebob ride, but Spongebob was also at Universal. One person probably owns everything.
Heck I remember about 5-6 years ago when all of a sudden Six Flags parks started selling Disney merch with their own stores...Many were thinking something was happening after the buyout of the Company by Red Zone which was run by former ESPN Execs...
