when i was at the OSoDL i was waiting in line w/ my family to get a picture w/ the giant light switch and while waiting in line a couple who just had their picture and the guy got down on 1 knee and proposed...everyone was cheering. I was wondering if anyone else was just walking or waiting in line and saw a marriage proposal?

However, I once discovered that AA was closed for a wedding reception & a couple being transported to the Wedding Pavilion on Cinderella's coach from the Grand Floridian. Pretty magical...

I have seen a wedding proposal at WDW before. They can be pretty magical.

We saw a couple get engaged at the CA Grill. He did it very quietly but then the waiter announced it and the resturant brought out champaigne and a big dessert. It was very sweet.

I was lucky enough to witness someone in front of the castle right before the fireworks....we were just sittng there people watching and everyone was sitting around when the guy and this girl is up in front of everyone and he drops down on one knee.....my eyes started watering and I didn't even know the people. This was a few years ago.

Never saw a proposal, but did see the Cinderella Coach heading out to the wedding chapel while riding the monorail. Those little ponies are so cute!!

The husband & I saw a proposal at CRT when we were there for dinner in May '08. We were on our anniversary trip & had dinner there. We at a table pretty close to the windows. A few minutes after we were seated a young couple walked in all dressed up fancy. He was wearing a coat & tie and she was wearing a cocktail dress & heels. Anywhoo, they walked past us & were seated by the window a couple tables over. I leaned into the hubby & whispered, "We're gonna see a proposal." We continued thru our meal as did they. When it was desert time I saw a Photopass photographer come into the dining room along with their waiter. The photographer hung back so he was not seen by the girl. Anywhoo, a platter with big silver dome was placed in front of the girl, waitor took the dome off, quickly stepped back, and the guy was on his knee in a flash. The photographer was right there and caught it all. Very sweet. When the girl nodded the entire restaurant burst into cheers, whistles, & applause. Champagne flutes w/a sparkling something in them were put in front of them right away. It was all very sweet. The photographer took a bunch more pics. Then he went away and we all enjoyed Wishes from inside CRT. When Fairy Godmother did her performance she congratulated their engagement along with our 15th anniversary. They were leaving the same time we were so we all ended up congratulating each other. It was a lot of fun....definitely set the tone for our anniversary trip sans the kiddos!

I was proposed to in front of Cinderalla's Castle right before the parade (Spectro was literally running us off the road) in October 2003. Several cast members were involved and TONS of people saw. I often wonder who from these boards saw us that night :O)

I was waiting to watch the Cinderellabration show at Magic Kingdom when this guy got on his knee and proposed to his girlfriend. The girlfriend was so shocked and her family was all excited. It was a pretty cool thing to see.

What is it about the light switch? On our Dec '07 trip, we saw the same thing. I don't get it must it seems to be one of those "places" where the magic really happens.

Those people you see in the back and a crowd of about 20 people behind the photopass lady got to witness me in action.

She was crying tears of joy the whole time so we had to come back 2 hours later when she composed herself to take some nice smiling pictures lol

Saw a couple get engaged last December in front of the castle. It was just dark enough to see the castle lights shimmering. They were in front of us in the photo pass line, just in front of the hub.

When it was their turn, she turned around to put down her bag and he was already on his knee with the ring.

The photopass photographer was great, immediately started taking a ton of photos of the entire proposal...

Very nice... awesome settings... all the girls is the line cried!

I've seem a guy drop to his knee whilst walking through the castle to propose. I guess people saw me propose outside the castle after wishes (although I waited a while for the crowds to disperse)
