we went to Disney at the end of March about 4 or 5 years ago and we definately got some color walking around the parks, I even got a little bit of sunburn on my face.

I burn way to easily, so it's not even worth trying to get some color for me. So everyday at Disney I need to lather up with lots of sun block. SPF 45 for me!

I'm a southern guy with blonde hair and blue eyes, so I BURN very easily. The past two weekends, Bull Frog hasn't helped! I've been red as the devil! If you tan, you will tan! If you burn, you will burn!

Sunscreen up!

burning bad
sun good

My daughter is so anti-sun it's crazy.
Her Dermitologist told her she needed some sun.
He told her it wasn't healthy.

I think the Sun is healthy for you as long as you don't overdo it and can tan without burning. Many studies are showing that vitamin D from the sun cuts your chances of cancer, again as long as you aren't scorching yourself.
I tan super easy through a SPF 15 I lay out about 45 minutes at a time and that gives me a great base so when I got to WDW or the beach I am not going to get burned.

Did he not give any other stipulation?

I've heard that 10 to 15 minutes of sun on BARE SKIN is all you need to get your daily vitamin D requirements. Past that, use your sunscreen.

I have to say that I was there in March like 2 years ago and it was freezing!!! We all wore sweats and jeans until the last day. So the weather can be tricky. It was also the end of March. So I suggest checking the weather before you go. I LOVE to tan also but watch out cause FLA can be brutal.

Yes definitely watch out. Up here, I barely even tan, nevermind burn, but I just got back from WDW last night and my nose and cheekbones are burned. =(

Mine told me 3 min a day is all it takes  but maybe that's just here in AZ. There is a ton of skin cancer here so he probably tries to scare his patients straight. It worked on me because I have become much better with the sunscreen...

We were there the last two weeks in March last year and it was perfect-hot and sunny without being sticky. We certainly got a nice glow. We would have gone the same time again this year had it not been Easter, we plumped for late April instead and are hoping the weather is similar :)
