Feb 27th to March 6th - POFQ. :sohappy: Can't wait. We went last year during this same period and the crowds were not bad at all. I believe the Canada starts their Spring Break cycle in early March and we did meet some lovely Canadian Spring Breakers last year, but I honestly did not think the crowds were that bad. I have heard that the last two weeks of March are madness, but I couldn't say personally since I have never been during that time period.

I have an account at TP, along with what friends have told me... early March is ok... late March and you're smack dab in the middle of college spring break. Not many colleges have break during the first week of March. I think we'll be OK!

I have an account as well...have you seen the new wait times posted on TP? It is quite interesting to see the probable wait times the day we are going to be in the park and if the attraction has Fastpasses, when they will run out and when the return time will be. It gives a park by park, day by day estimate wait time of attractions at the Magic Kingdom, Epcot, Hollywood Studios and Animal Kingdom.

For my family, we don't really care how crowded it is. We believe it won't be bad at all. We will be there March 4th to the 10th at Bay Lake Towers at the Contempory and March 10th to 13th on the New Disney Dream cruise ship. May have people such as us at WDW because its Mardi Gras in Louisiana and South Mississippi. Mardi Gras is a holiday observed by us and most people just think its a all out drink fest with parades and half dressed people (only in Downtown New Orleans). Most of the carnival season is nice parades and family oriented. Mardi Gras gives us the oppourtunity to go to WDW with out taking the kids out of school.:sohappy:

92 days to go!!!

March 20th-25th at All Star Sports

I am not happy at all with those dates because I've heard how awfully crowded it can be, but this is the only time my in-laws could go with us since my father-in-law is a teacher and its his spring break. This is their first time to WDW so I am praying the crowds are not terrible, or else I'm afraid they will miss out on quite a bit...

But hey, at least we're going to WDW, right?!

they don't look all that bad... sub 40 minute lines for space at peak times, I'm used to that. How accurate can the projected lines be though, really? I mean, I can see crowd levels estimated on previous attendence numbers and time of year but I think estimating a wait time has a massive X factor involved.

We are heading down to the world from march 14-19 staying for the first time at PORS We don't care about the crowds, because this is going to be a kid free trip. Leaving my son with my rents while my husband and I enjoy some time to ourselves.

As for the crowds, we had to pick that time since its my spring break-I am a student in the evening-and it works with my husbands schedule...

So crowds or no crowds we are looking forward to it.

It interests me on how they come up with these numbers:shrug:. Do you use the Touring Plans? In 2006 & 2009 I used them and they worked out great for us. We would go down the list and if we wanted to ride the ride next on the list we would, otherwise we would skip it and go to the next attraction on the list. The touring plans have worked out great for us and it will be the first time I will be using the Magic Kingdom and Epcot two day touring plans...I am interested to see how it works out. Only 92 days left to go:sohappy:

March 1-4 at Pop Century. Taking my mom for the first time, but the kids don't know she's coming yet! I'm so excited to show my mom "our Disney." :animwink:

We'll be hitting the World March 17th-24th. First few days off-site, and then moving to POFQ on the 20th! This will be our third Spring Break, and we've always had a wonderful time. No long waits, crowds very managable. Flower and garden show looking lovely!

As far as being worried about crowds, it depends on what you are used to. The first time we went was Jan 1-7, 2008. Crazy crowded. The line for the haunted mansion was past the Liberty Belle gates. So, for us, waiting maybe 20 minutes to a half hour is not so bad. If you are used to going at those times of the year when there is no wait, then you might think it is awful, terrible.

It's how you look at it. In one long line for Peter Pan our first trip, I found out my ds who was 10 at the time, didn't know how to play rock paper scissors. It is now a tradition that all of us play in line, and sometimes other people we have never met before join in. It's great!

Just booked a Savannah View Studio at AKL (Kidani) for March 7-12!

Hope to get in some spring training baseball while we're there--the Yankees are playing the Braves on the 8th--now I just have to wait for those tickets to go on sale on Jan 8.

Ouch! In all the times I've invited guests (family, friends) to join us on vacation and gotten them a villa, I've never asked for payment! If they buy me dinner, I feel fortunate (married into a bunch of cheapskates, sometimes we don't even get dinner!)

Oh, and I expect that the BoSox are going to wipe the floor with the Yanks this year!! I just hope that my 76-year old mother will not cause a riot at Disney's WWOS by rooting for the visiting team too loudly!

well, we were planning on going all along but we were considering value versus staying off site. Then, last minute her parents decided they wanted to come along (if we didnt mind)... and they are used to a certain standard of lodging... so we lucked out. I will be taking an extensive amount of photographs so I will have a nice blog here about the trip.
