Maybe because no one knew that Spikes was a thief at the time? I talked to him once or twice and sent pictures to him (while i was employed, I did not trespass).

This is called the guilty by association fallacy
No it was just when he was a known repeated trespasser... and something tells me, based on his bravado, the thievery was an open secret around friends. Who knows maybe he kept it under wraps? 🤷‍♂️

The brief time I talked to BDD, he repeatedly mentioned how there were certain people in higher places willing to pay big money for stolen WDW artifacts. He of course said he would never do that ( ), but he mentioned that he was approached several times and offered pretty large cheques. I’m starting to wonder if these two were among the individuals he was referring to.

That just makes me more suspicious that the animatronic Buzzy theft was a result of this...

"On Tuesday, Orange County Sheriff’s Office declined to say whether Buzzy’s clothes were returned and referred comment to Disney. Disney representatives called the issue a law enforcement matter and also declined to comment."

lol... what game is Disney trying to play here. The 'nothing to see here...' schtick is long past done on this whole thing.

If this has taught me anything it’s maybe to not be so gullible when someone who’s already in trouble with the law tells you that they didn’t do something.
Well no DUH. But I have no sympthay for you after the way you constantly defended him against mounting evidence and the way you gloated about being right when you were in fact wrong and you still have not apologized or said you were wrong or sorry. And given how you have said you saw pictures of the stolen property and never reported it, I am not so sure you are not involved in this whole thing more than you say you are.

If its that easy to take stuff out gives the appearance it would also be that easy to bring stuff in.
