Hey everyone! I'm just checking in. Just got back from the wedding. It was an interesting day. (Actually it's been an interesting two days.)
So, after I left here last night, I went to see my favorite comedian, Rodney Carrington (sorry Jess...no jokes that I can tell...all of them that I remember were dirty! ) I met what's his face downtown at Hooters and ate dinner. Well, the waitress asked us why we were so dressed up (he was wearing a button down shirt and tie left over from work) and I said, we're going to the concert. She said they guys at the next table over were going too. So I kinda waved at them and then went back to my dinner.
So just as we were finishing dinner, one of the guys comes over to our table and is like, we're from Kentucky and we don't know the area all that well. And we didn't plan on drinking that second pitcher. We've got a proposition for you. If you drive us to the concert, we'll pay for your dinner. So what's his face and I thought it over and decided that we'd drive them (they looked like decent guys and I had what's his face with me, so I figured we'd be safe...but I called my best friend as a precaution...I'm not totally stupid!) So we drove them to the concert. They were actually a lot of fun. The one guy had just gotten married in December and he had just passed the Bar to become a lawyer. The other guy was a computer technician. They also paid for our parking at the concert too. Then we took them back to their car at the end of the night.
Then today, I went to photograph the wedding and we went to this outdoor venue where you can see the Arch in the background (if you guys looked at my pics, it was the place with the fountains and the white cathedral building and the Arch). Well anyway...so my mom couldn't find a parking spot...so she told me to just get out of the car and get started. I was like

because I've never "gotten started" without her. I can barely pose brides and grooms myself, let alone I've got a whole wedding party to pose! So I get started....and she doesn't show up. I do some other stuff that I know I can handle...she doesn't show up. I do the rest of the stuff I need to do...she doesn't show up. She must have circled the area 20 times and she still couldn't find a parking spot! So I ended up doing EVERYTHING!!!!! It was so nerve-racking! But really exhillerating. And I came up with my own pose too! The guys all had umbrellas because it was supposed to rain today...well it didn't...but I had the guys use them for a picture. I had them stagger them...some held them open, some had them over there shoulders, some held them in front like canes...it was so cool. Unfortunately, I only took one picture of it...and one of the guys looked away. (I was in a hurry...there were like 20 other wedding parties there at the same time...all jockying for the same spot I was in.) But it was still a cool picture!
Anyway...enough of my rambling. I just wanted to share my funfilled two days with you. And I"m sure I'll have plenty to share Monday because tomorrow what's his face and I are going house hunting!
