Making Magic with MJ

So, after a particulary horrendous day at work on Thursday, I went back in this morning pretty much determined to quit. But, today was my 30 day evaluation, at which my General Manager told me she absolutely loves me and can't believe what I accomplish on my shift! Then she gave me a raise!

I'm so sorry - sort of? Kind of when I offered to quit my job and the boss said "no please don't, you're the only materenal influence they have, etc." Then we all know what happened 2 weeks later.....

How much of a raise?

So you didn't quit?

Hmm... I say give it one more month with the raise, then give 'em what they deserve!

Please don't let this one setback color your opinion of yourself. You know you are a valuable employee. Continue to give your best to whatever job you are assigned and be proud of yourself for doing that! That's all anyone can ask of you and all that you should expect of yourself.

And if that doesn't work for you, just think of poor Dot schlepping coffee while you're living our dream job!

Hi Bonny - glad you're feeling better. Stomach bugs are no fun! Did you eat anything yesterday?

I had some fruited Chicken, kind of a stewey-soupy thing with rice, it stayed put, so that is good.

Sounds like a relaxing day. ENJOY IT!

I'll try!

So is this good or bad? Hugs either way...

I'm so mixed up. :p :hammer:
The raise isn't much, but the fact that I am appreciated sort of makes it a bit more bearable! For now I'll continue to hang in and see what happens. Take it day by day. George says he's behind me, whatever I decide to do. So that helps a lot too!

Hi Bonny honey!
I hope you're feeling better!
I feel like I have been so out of touch with everyone lately.
Hopefully, I'll feel normal again one of these days.
Hugs and kisses to Princess M!

Good or bad? Both I guess.
I wanted to quit. (Although I hate quitting anything!) Now I won't, at least for a while. We'll see how it goes.

I totally hear you on that one - somehow when we know we're appreciated it makes us forget what we didn't like about it. I'd say take it on a week-by-week basis - you'll know when you're ready to quit.

Exactly what I intend to do. If I somehow adjust to the pace and am not so tired all the time, I'd definitely stay. Maybe that will happen. We'll see.

So, since we didn't get to go see MIL yesterday, we'll be going later this afternoon. Since usually Sunday is when BIL and SIL go, guess who I'll be with all afternoon! :(
