Any speculation as to what attractions from Asia Disney and Paris Disney will be imported to the world?

What about the BRAND NEW unique WDW attraction? Think it will be taking the place of the 20k lagoon?

hmmm...no announcement of a host park. I still say it has to be Epcot. It's the logical place since it has Soarin' showing Disneyland, an exhibit for Hong Kong Disneyland (I would guess small exhibits...maybe live feeds in France and Japan from those parks, as well).

Does anyone know what they mean by "Stay tuned for more suprises to come from Disney Theme Parks in Paris and Tokyo?"
...Maybe we're getting Journey Into the Center of the Earth! That would be awsome! Put it where 20K is!...:( I can only hope.

Soarin' over California in Epcot. Gee why not soarin' over the world? I mean Epcot is a permanent world's fair for crying out loud. It looks like someone got cheap.

And the castle will be in fake gold and plastic jewels. Aww well it's atleast not the birthday cake.

The gift from Tokyo is Cinderellabration (that is not on the official Disney page and we know it is coming). However, Lights, Motors, Action is on that page, so I don't know what else we are getting from Paris. Perhaps their old parade for Epcot? (I think it was called something like ImagiNations)

To celebrate Disneyland's 50th anniv, DLP will be closed, burned, and leveled to the ground.

In other news, The Walt Disney Company has announced it plans to build a theme park in the United Kingdom, which will not only give guests the magical experience of crappy weather every day, but will also take another bite out of Orlando's international visitation.

I'm guessing the new attraction they're talking about is Expedition: Everest. I'm not sure though.

Maybe they did not want to fill the press release with a bunch of minor stuff, like the Osborne lights....also, the celebration begins 5/5/05, so the Osborne lights wont be part of it.

Seems as if they just announced what I've already read in the forums. I was hoping for an announcement for a new ride that I can't currently see them building. That would be a surprise.
As for Lucky, that thing will one day be in the Hall of Presidents. Amazing. Hope he stands up better than Abe.
Will people be able to get close to this thing? Hmmm, still wish we got some real big news. Like Eisner is the guy driving Lucky. Pay no attention to the man behind the curtain... Lots of Park hoopla surrounding the Eisner turmoil. Good timing by Mike? :veryconfu

Now I've only seen photos of Lucky, but I think he's cute! A free-roaming audio-anamatronic is pretty impressive if you ask me. Plus he can even sign autographs! Sure it's just a 4 leaf clover that's his "signature", but what other audio-anamatronic do you know of that can do that?

Oh and FYI... the flower cart Lucky hauls around secretly covers his power supply and speaker system. Something like that doesn't work on a little 9-volt battery. At elast not yet...

Well, when we have access to the internet and almost all information is leaked out on some fan page somewhere by some means, it is probably near impossible these days to ever give "fans" a big surprise before an official announcement. I'm sure if they were to announce anything really big it would have been leaked in some shape or another. With the amount being built right now and that which was just been finished, I have a hard time believing that yet another big attraction will be announced until after Everest is finished.

WDW 's future actually looks pretty rosy. Afterall, in addition to all the stuff mentioned in the press release today that we all knew about (even a new castle show was known....just not what kind), IASW is being completely re-done, which sounds to be a very nice refurb.

Perhaps its me but I didn't interpret it that WDW would be getting surprises from those parks. I interpreted it that there would be surprises at those parks, meaning that the additions would be there and not here.

I thought it was that at first, but then I looked at all the other park sectioins and none of them said anything like what was said in WDW's. But maybe I'm just :hammer: .

That statement was on the Disney World page, not on the Tokyo or Paris pages, which means they are new attractions going to wdw FROM Tokyo and Paris.

I think you can surprise fans. Apple does it all the time...they constantly have things under wraps, and even fan sights are surprised at times because Apple is so extremely secretive.

Disney just isn't as innovative...so they don't have those sorts of 'surprises' you see things coming easier. More predictable.
