From what I've read the announcement is tell how all of the parks will celebrate Disneyland's 50th. I think WDW will be getting a new addition for the celebration, how about the Indiana Jones ride from Disneyland? It could also tie in with the 15th anniversary of the Disney Studios.

I can't wait to find out. Does anyone know what time the announcement will be. Chances are i will have to wait until I get home from to find out.

I spoke with Mr. Osborne yesterday, and he told me that one of the things taking place at the WDW announcement is that they are going to confirm that the Osborne family Spectacle of Lights is definitely back ON for this Christmas! YIPPEE!!! I am curious as to the actual time of the press conferences.

....While we're waiting for the big announcement, would someone mind telling me what the Osbourne Lights are?

Thanks,

I know it may be a bit much to ask that this event be televised...but don't you think Disney should at least have a live feed on their website...or something to that effect???

Ya know what they're saying???

Michael Eisner: "I know there are a bunch of people on the internet awaiting this...let's just let them wait some more"

Board: Ok then.

Michael Eisner: "We have gone through a major influx in the tourism industry over the past year...so we have decided to give World Showcase a little something extra...Canada will be the home to Epcot's newest attraction. This attraction will be themed as a wild river rapid ride down the Canadian Rockies...along your way you will see familiar characters from the movie Brother Bear"
"And for all of you who believe that that's the announcement...I have some ocean front property I'd like to sell you in the middle of Kansas" "The announcement is...I've decided to give myself a larger bonus this year...I'm happy...you should be too..." "Oh yes, and one more thing, I saved money when I switched to Geiko"

Personally, I think if the news were that spectacular, they would have done something about live internet posting at the very least. I'm preparing to be disappointed.

What do you all expect to hear?

I guess I don't care too much for these marketing ploys...aren't the most honest ventures out there.

Yep, I'm agreeing with you there...if this was THAT major of an announcement...they'd want the whole world to know as soon as possible!

Eisner: And...for the major announcement that everyone is waiting for...There are NEW bathrooms open at MGM/Studios...and if you want nothing but "thrilling"...just GET THE NERVE UP TO DRY YOUR HANDS!

What do you think the odds of a new E-ticket going in?

I do not think there will be another major project announced. I could see the announcement of the Osborne ligts coming back, but again nothing big.

I'm torn. Way announce a big announcement if it's only going to be something like the lights... but then why not make it a big deal if it were a new E-Ticket attraction.

Personally, with MS so new, Soarin' in production along with EE... I think there won't be anything new for a while.
