Not really. Most airlines will issue travel waivers allowing you to make changes without incurring a change fee. For example United will wave the $200 fee per ticket to change to another later or earlier flight. Provided you are going to the same destination and in the same fare class.
Airlines are already doing that for the Caribbean destinations. I expect they'll do the same for Florida Thursday.

If FSU lets non-Jax ticket holders in for free (been done before) to fill Doak, who cares? As long as weather isn't too bad (1984 UF game was the worst I've watched at Doak), people will attend.

65 mph winds, coupled with massive amounts of rain, can do lots of damage - I lost trees and power in 2006. I wouldn't be so quick to poo poo Dorian. And there's a new tropical wave in the Atlantic.

Having lived through hurricanes the last 3 years in a row (Hermine, Irma, Michael), I'm keeping a watch on Dorian. Once the storm clears the islands and hits warm, open water, it can intensify pretty quickly. Ask Miami about Andrew.....

Six is looking like it will move north/northeast and not affect Florida. As long as it doesn’t curl back around.

My concern is any affect it may have on Dorian...and a football game Saturday night.

Just saw the updated forecast cones. I’m a little concerned that Dorian will cut through the middle of Florida, hit the warm waters of the Gulf, reintensify, and then hit LA/TX.

It is quite possible to take a Andrew/Katrina path. You don't know until its about to make land fall.

I find it quite interesting that is SWGE opening weekend. I wonder what Disney will do? he he he..

I was going to drive up Saturday, got a non-refundable night at the Radisson, and then was going to move over to Art of Animation for a night before driving back down to SoFlo on Monday. I don't mind driving in the rain but my car sits low and puddles are a killer. But...I want my Simba and Minnie magnets so...ponchos and flip flops it is along with a tarp and bailing bucket, just in case.
