Someone on FB DVC site posted flyer received at Vero Beach mandatory evacuation by 6pm today.
Fingers crossed that won't happen.

We closed all of our Floridian facilities yesterday. Always have supplies before a storm develops.

On a side note, the cone has Ocean City, MD in it and well....if this storm decides to make landfall when it gets close to Maryland then I'll be screwed, lol.

Data from an Air Force Reserve Hurricane Hunter aircraft and satellite data indicate that Dorian has made landfall at 1240 pm EDT (1640 UTC) in Elbow Cay, Abacos. The winds have increased to 185 mph (295 km/h) with the minimum central pressure falling to 911 mb (26.90 inches). This is a life-threatening situation. Residents there should take immediate shelter. Do not venture into the eye if it passes over your location.
Hazards:
- Wind Gusts over 220 mph
- Storm Surge 18 to 23 feet above normal tide levels with higher destructive waves

This is bringing up memories of Michael last year. I know what my fellow Floridians on the east coast are going through.
Wind gusts of 220 mph?! That's an F4 tornado. OMG.
No matter what part of Florida people live in, we all are going through this. The Panhandle is here and ready for those who need to evacuate. Y'all were there for us during Michael last year.

I completely understand them shutting down several days before the storm. I don’t blame them for that. Their employees need to prepare too. But a warning that they were gonna do that or even that they did that would have been appreciated. I wouldn’t have known except for this board. Some items are still being shown with yesterday as the expected delivery date. Live and learn is right.

Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis on on TV right now for a press conference. Most if not all of the FL East Coast Counties either have started evacuation or will in the next 24 hours. Tolls (most) are being suspended. He hopes it will turn, but we have to plan for the worst.
