Yeah there’s no supplies in Tampa except beer so I traveled across the galaxy today.
It’s the middle of September...there really shouldn’t be crowds that aren’t “her majesty’s”We leave to head down on the 7th... This should all be clear by then eh? I wonder if that will mess with any crowd levels for our trip..
Nah,you'll be good assuming no mass gas / food / electric shortages, Disney itself will be fine.We leave to head down on the 7th... This should all be clear by then eh? I wonder if that will mess with any crowd levels for our trip..
We arrive saturday the 7th, do parks the 8th and the 9th and drive back the 10th. Really quick long weekend for the wife and i.It’s the middle of September...there really shouldn’t be crowds that aren’t “her majesty’s”
Anyway
Can’t decide if I should stay in Miami or try and head to Orlando. Hurricane season is the absolute worst.
Were in the nashville area, and will be driving, we go down through birmingham, and that way to avoid the travesty thats known as Atlanta.Nah,you'll be good assuming no mass gas / food / electric shortages, Disney itself will be fine.

Hey now, I live in Atlanta. That would be offensive if it weren't trueWere in the nashville area, and will be driving, we go down through birmingham, and that way to avoid the travesty thats known as Atlanta.
That all depends on what damage the storm causes - no one can say now if the airport will be open on Wednesday without knowing the actual impact of the storm. My Dh and I are to be arriving Sept 4th and fly back on Sept 8th. I'm thinking by Thursday the parks should be open but will the airport be open on Wednesday for my arrival?
I just know which ever I decide is where the storm will go lolWhere would you rather be? In flooded Miami or cocooned in your Disney resort room.

Hey at least it’s a gourmet cookieWe were there for Matthew too. This is the infamous $12.99 box lunch they were selling. People were told that the food court would be close all day the next day, so they better buy more than one.

Do you guys in FL do contraflow? I seem to recall they ruled that out some time ago.

I mean it's not that difficult to drive through Atlanta, just pick a time between 2:00 AM and 2:15 AM and you should not have any issuesIf only there was a way to go around Hotlanta (one of my profs called it that - he visited regularly to pick up college girls) driving north....
Love visiting, hate driving through it.
