absolutely zeroI'm supposed to fly in on Sept 5th. What's the chances this storm lingers till then I need to change plans?
Stay safe Florida. I rode out Harvey and it was not fun.

I'd imagine mid-week next week will be good too (Assuming the Falcon doesn't get blown away)Fortunately, you're arriving before Florida will start to see the effects of the storm. Might be a good day to visit Galaxy's Edge on Saturday.

I never assume someone wants to spend that kinda money on a whimI'd imagine mid-week next week will be good too (Assuming the Falcon doesn't get blown away)
That’s the spirit...Looking on the bright side of things, at least the company will have a great way to explain to shareholders any disappointing crowd sizes at Star Wars Land, in case WDW follows Disneyland's Start Wars Land pattern.

It will be gone. Expect inconveniences, though, from cleanup, etc.
...First day?
As someone who was in the eye wall of Michael, if they ask you to leave, please do so. I grew up with storms all my life. (Ivan, Opal, Dennis). Michael was never suppose to be as bad until we woke up next morning and saw a Cat 5 moving towards us with less than 6 hours before landfall.
When it comes to in and around Disney, the only time you'll see any of that might be the day after the storm has passed through. Maybe. Their cleanup crews are amazing when it comes to storms. Been there (and worked there) after a few hurricanes, and in all honesty there was one that I was there for that it took them a bit longer than a day to clean up. The others you couldn't tell at all that a hurricane had finished passing through the day before.
Yes, I saw that. Disneyland's Star Wars Land was similarly mobbed on its opening day, before attendance dropped to embarrassing levels.
Which is an example of why debating how a hurricane will impact somebody 47th trip to Disney does seem tone deaf, huh?Greetings from another Panhandler.
By the time we realized how bad Michael was, it was too late to find anything to evacuate to. Glad you made it through.
If it looks as though Dorian will move out into the Gulf, we've decided to make plans to leave. Heading up to at least Dothan.
DLR's traffic
What is DLR?
It’s opening day on a summer holiday weekend with no AP blackouts. I’m surprised that people thought it would be empty. Let’s see what the land is like two weeks from now.
