If they have rooms they will. Might not be at the Boardwalk. We were in DisneyWorld on 9/11 and the airports were closed for several days. Somehow people were accommodated. We're supposed to fly home Sunday. We check out of the boardwalk that day, if our flight gets cancelled will Disney help us get a room for the night?
I have a feeling we're going to be stuck in this. We're supposed to arrive tomorrow for Monday's cruise, and I can't see them making a decision on the cruise until after we're already in Orlando.
Yep, it's a DCL cruise. I've heard that rumor about delaying a day, so we don't really have a choice but to come down and see what happens. It does feel silly flying into the path of this thing.DCL cruise? Someone previously mentioned the departure may be delayed until Tuesday. But with the most recent update showing an early Tuesday landfall, who knows at this point.

They reported they skipped the 8:00 AM update as the storm is not currently a threat to land.
Hurricanally speaking is it or isn't it advisable to take a quick weekend surf trip to New Smyrna?
To visualize what @JohnD said:Will be another update at 11am. I'm just now returning to the thread so have missed many posts. You all have probably already discussed that models are coming together showing a potential track straight up through the State. As much as that would be a pain for everyone, I would rather see it continue over land and weaken than go back out into the Gulf.

Fortunately, you're arriving before Florida will start to see the effects of the storm. Might be a good day to visit Galaxy's Edge on Saturday.
I'm supposed to fly in on Sept 5th. What's the chances this storm lingers till then I need to change plans?
Stay safe Florida. I rode out Harvey and it was not fun.

The way the models are shifting, and considering we still have 4 days to landfall, this storm could completely miss Florida and make landfall in Georgia. But don't donate your spare water yet...

I was in a wdw hotel for about 44 of 48 hours...That was “challenging” to say the leastIf they have rooms they will. Might not be at the Boardwalk. We were in DisneyWorld on 9/11 and the airports were closed for several days. Somehow people were accommodated.
